According to TMZ, police found the bodies of Robin Kaye, music supervisor for 'American Idol,' and her husband, Thomas Deluca, in their LA home in the 4700 block of White Oak Avenue.
Several shots to the head

The two deceased, who were both 70 years old, had multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Their deaths had been instantaneous.
A worried friend

It all started, according to TMZ, when a friend requested a welfare check at their house because they were unable to contact the couple.
Police entered the house

When police officers arrived, they saw blood on the porch and forced their way into the home. There, they found the couple dead.
Cameras revealed how the attacker entered the home

Reviewing security cameras, police saw an attacker gain access to the home by crossing the 8-foot-high spiked fence surrounding the house. They then entered the home through an unlocked door.
The couple was out

The owners of the house were not there at the time. It seems they felt secure enough to leave their door unlocked.
Caught in the act, violent confrontation

Half an hour later, the couple arrived home. A violent confrontation occurred that ended with Robin Kaye and Thomas Deluca murdered.
Arrest within 24 hours

Los Angeles Police Department Lieutenant Guy Dolan confirmed that the culprit was arrested within 24 hours after the incident.
Culprit was 22 years old

It was a 22-year-old man, Raymond Boodarian. The investigation is ongoing, as many questions about the incident remain unanswered.
Why did he do it?

According to Lieutenant Dolan, the house had not been burglarized. The police are investigating the motives for the breaking and entering of the house. In addition, they need to know more about the murders, as they do not believe the detainee knew the victims.
