Comedian Jim Gaffigan to perform, record 4 bourbon shows in Louisville. How to get tickets
The eight-time Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer and two-time New York Times best-selling author has announced he'll bring his show, "A Bourbon Set", featuring all new material, to The Kentucky Center, 501 W. Main St., less than a month after he's scheduled to appear at the annual Bourbon & Beyond music festival at the Highland Festival Grounds in September.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan worked the crowd while promoting his Fathertime Bourbon on the Workshop stage on the fourth and final day of the Bourbon & Beyond music festival in Louisville, Kentucky on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024.
"I’ve developed bourbon/whiskey culture specific stand up material, which I’ll be recording in Louisville this Oct. 7-9," Gaffigan posted on his social media. "These shows will be 21+ and I’m filming this bourbon set for later use. It’s a bourbon set. If you are a whiskey fan, you’ll definitely want to check this out."
The comedian will perform four shows over the three night engagement.
Gaffigan has been talking up Kentucky bourbon a lot the past couple of years. He was featured guest at the 2024 music and bourbon festival, where he appeared on stage with host Chris Blanton hawking his, at the time, recently released Fathertime Bourbon.
Fathertime is distilled in Kentucky and was created and distributed by Gaffigan and his long-time friend, film producer, and Louisville native, Stu Pollard.
When Blanton asked the comedian during the 2024 Bourbon & Beyond music festival what got him into bourbon, Gaffigan replied, "I think it was being a parent."
Gaffigan is known around the world for his unique brand of humor, which largely revolves around his observations on life, especially his wife and five children.
In addition to two seasons of the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical "The Jim Gaffigan Show," which he wrote and produced with his wife Jeannie, Gaffigan has guest-starred on many television comedies and dramas, ranging from "Portlandia" and "Bob’s Burgers" to the HBO cult hits "Flight of the Concords" and dramatic roles in shows such as "Law & Order."
In addition, has won three Emmy Awards for his humorous commentaries on "CBS Sunday Morning."
Recently awarded for being the first comedian to reach one billion streams on Pandora, Gaffigan will again be a featured guest on the spirits stage at the 2025 Bourbon & Beyond held in Louisville, Sept. 11-14, before his three night engagement at the Kentucky Center's Bomhard Theatre, Oct. 7-9.
