Love, Death + Robots season 4 release date, cast and what to expect
Dinosaur gladiators, messianic cats, string-puppet rock stars can mean only one thing Love, Death + Robots is back.
The show is presented by Tim Miller and David Fincher with Jennifer Yuh Nelson as supervising director
Miller said: “I’ve given up on figuring out which season might be ‘the best’ because I love all my children but I am really excited about all the episodes in Volume 4.”

When is Love, Death + Robots season 4 on Netflix?
Love, Death + Robots season four will be available to stream on Netflix from 8am (BST) on Thursday 15 May. There are 10 original shorts in the new series, titled:
- Can’t Stop
- Close Encounters of the Mini Kind
- Spider Rose
- 400 Boys
- The Other Large Thing
- Golgotha
- The Screaming of the Tyrannosaur
- How Zeke Got Religion
- Smart Appliances, Stupid Owners
- For He Can Creep
For those who want to catch up on the previous three seasons, these are also available on Netflix. But viewers will need a Netflix subscription, which starts from £5.99 a month.
Who is in the cast of Love, Death + Robots season 4?
Mr Beast

Jimmy Donaldson, otherwise as MrBeast, gives voice to a villainous game show host in the short The Screaming of the Tyrannosaur.
The renowned American YouTuber and businessman has the most subscribers on YouTube, at 393 million, and is the third most followed on TikTok, with 115.3 million followers.
He rose to fame posting videos about gaming, branching out into stunts such as attempting to break glass with megaphones and watching paint dry, and giveaway videos where subscribers can win a large amounts of cash or prizes.
The 27-year-old has also branched out into the food industry with the restaurant chain MrBeast Burger and snack firms Feastables and Lunchly.
Emily O’Brien

Emily O’ Brien returns to the anthology series as the voice of cyberpunk mechanist in the short Spider Rose.
The British actress, 39, is best known for playing Jana Hawkes Fisher in television series The Young and the Restless. She has also starred in Days of Our Lives and the 2014 film Pernicious.
Aside from her voice work on Love, Death + Robots in season two, she has also provided voices for video game such as Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Gotham Knights.
Chris Parnell

Chris Parnell is back as the voice of “the cat”, a character he has played in previous seasons, in the episode The Other Large Thing.
The American actor and comedian, 58, is best known as a long-standing cast member of the sketch show Saturday Night Live. He has also starred in 30 Rock, Suburgatory, Rick and Morty, Nature Cat, American Dad!, Grown-ish and Happy Together. On film, he has played the role of Garth Holliday in the Anchorman movies.
Red Hot Chili Peppers

American rock band the Red Hot Chili Peppers are recreated as string puppets for the Can’t Stop episode and the four band members provide the voices.
Formed in 1982, the group has sold more then 120 million records worldwide, won three Grammy awards and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their hits include: “Under the Bridge”, “Californication”, “Give It Away”, “Scar Tissue” and “Can’t Stop”.
The remaining cast includes:

What should we expect from Love, Death + Robots season 4?
Season four comprises 10 very different shorts mixing puppetry and animation. Each episode of comes from a different team of artists and the genres covered include fantasy, horror, sci-fi and comedy.
Miller said: “I try to get a mix of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy. And we work with some really f**king fantastic writers and artists.”
This season will include a short entitled Can’t Stop, which is unique take on the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ legendary 2003 performance at Slane Castle, Ireland, with band members Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith, and John Frusciante recreated as string puppets.
400 Boys stars the voices of John Boyega and Ed Skein in a post-apocalyptic city, where warring gangs follow a code of honor. A new gang, the 400 Boys, forces them to unite.
Chris Parnell, John Oliver and Fred Tatasciore lend their voices to The Other Large Thing, the story of a cat who plans world domination. Sanchez, as his human “pets” know him, is helped by a new robotic butler who can hack into the World Wide Web and is eager to help his new master.
MrBeast and Bai Ling star in The Screaming of the Tyrannosaur. On a space station orbiting Jupiter, decadent aristocrats gather to witness a brutal contest of genetically modified gladiators, fierce combatants riding deadly, engineered dinosaurs.
And For He Can Creep sees British actors Dan Stevens and Jim Broadbent give life to characters in 1757 London. A poet confined to an insane asylum believes Satan wants him to write a verse that will end the world. The only thing standing between him and the Prince of Darkness (voiced by Dan Stevens) is his cat, Jeoffry.
