Following the news, tributes poured in for the former world champion from across Hollywood, including fellow stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and John Cena.

Hogan’s wife, Daily, has now shared a heartbreaking message on social media after her loss.

Taking to Instagram with a snap as she kissed her husband on the cheek, the 46-year-old began a lengthy message: ‘I wasn’t ready for this… and my heart is in pieces.

‘He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.

‘This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.’

‘Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him,’ she continued.

‘He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home.

‘Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.’

Fans were quick to offer Daily their support in the comments section below.

‘I’m so sorry for your loss, it was crystal clear how much he loved you,’ Missy replied. ‘I wish you had more time too.

‘Now you have an Angel watching over you.’

Nicole Kummer commented: ‘I’m so sorry. Thinking of you and your family. Sending you peace and love during this difficult time.’

As Frances Winstead posted: ‘Sky- sending so much love and comfort during this heartbreaking time!’

Hogan started dating yoga instructor Daily in 2022 and they announced their engagement the following year.

They got married just weeks later, tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Florida.

The late star proudly shared snaps of their nuptials on social media, with the caption: ‘My life starts now!’

The ceremony marked his third time down the aisle – he was previously married to Linda Claridge, who he shares children Nick and Brooke Hogan with.

In 2010, he married second wife Jennifer McDaniel but filed for divorce in 2021, after a decade of marriage.

However, Hogan’s daughter was not among the guests making the journey to Florida for his wedding to Daily.

She said at the time that she was trying to ‘create some distance between myself and my family’ and focus on ‘people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals, and values’.

Hogan’s family confirmed his death yesterday, with the Clearwater Police Department providing more details shortly after.

‘Just before 10 AM, Clearwater Police Department responded to a house in the 1000 block of El Dorado Avenue for a medical related call,’ Major Nate Burnside said.

‘It was discovered at that time that Terry Bollea, also known as Hulk Hogan, was experiencing a serious medical related issue.

‘Personnel provided medical treatment at that time and transported Mr. Bollea to Morton Plant Hospital, where he died at 11:17 AM.

‘The Clearwater Police Department is conducting a medical investigation, which is standard in these types of cases. There are no signs of foul play or suspicious activity related to this call for service at this time.’

His cause of death has not yet been shared, but TMZ reports that operators stated the initial medical call was regarding a ‘cardiac arrest’.
