Dramatic anti-terror drill as British commandos storm Sydney Harbour ferry
A dramatic anti-terror drill saw British commandos storm a Sydney Harbour ferry.
Against the backdrop of the famous Sydney Opera House, Royal Marine Commandos joined U.S. Navy Seals in a simulated recapture of an iconic New South Wales green and yellow ferry.

The July 8 event was part of Exercise Talisman Sabre 2025, in which the elite 42 Commando unit have been training with Australian Commandos.
UK Commando Force have also been working with U.S. Naval Special Warfare, Japanese and Singaporean Commandos in a multinational training exercise on Sydney Harbour.

The MOD said: “The special maritime operations training has seen UK Commando Force and partner allies conduct boarding drills on a variety of vessels by the Sydney Opera house.
“The training culminated with a joint forces recapture of an iconic New South Wales green and yellow ferry using; US Black Hawk Helicopters, US Special Forces Chinook Helicopters, Australian inflatable raiding craft and U.S. Naval Special Warfare Raiding Craft.”
