The Atlantic remains calm for now. The National Hurricane Center is not expecting any development within the next seven days.

This time of year is when we start to see an increase in tropical activity with peak tropical season being around September 11th. From August to October is when ocean temperatures are very warm and there is an increase in atmospheric moisture which all benefit tropical formation.
