The best player for each Premier League team in 2025/26 predicted

Let's predict!

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

With every team starting to make massive transfers ahead of the new season, and squads have started to form together, let's predict who will be the best player on each Premier League team.

Arsenal - Bukayo Saka

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Saka's campaign was hampered by injury last year, leading to a slightly under-par season for the Arsenal winger. He was on course to shatter his personal best output had he stayed healthy. With the addition of Viktor Gyokeres, Saka's life will become so much easier.

Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Bournemouth is a difficult team to predict next season, with two of their best players already leaving. Dean Huijsen has already departed, whilst Milos Kerkez has joined Liverpool. That leaves Antonine Semenyo as their sole talisman, and he could well be on the move too. If he stays, he will be key.

Brentford - Yoane Wissa

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Bryan Mbuemo has left West London this summer, leaving Yoane Wissa to pick up the slack. He scored 19 goals and assisted another four last term, per Transfermarkt, which suggests he is more than capable of shouldering the burden. How he gets on without his goalscoring partner, we don't know.

Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Perhaps a slightly outside the box decision to go with Jack Hinshelwood, given he's a still up and coming right back, we just have a feeling the 25/26 season could see him emerge as a genuine superstar player. He's still just 20-years-old, but has bags of potential.

Burnley - Kyle Walker

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Burnley are going to have to be incredible defensively next season, and Premier League veteran Kyle Walker will be integral to steadying the ship and helping the club keep clean sheets. Walker has won six Premier League titles with Manchester City.

Chelsea - Cole Palmer

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

For the first time in a Chelsea shirt, some things didn't go Palmer's way towards the end of the season, with a noticeable dip in form after the Christmas period. He's too talented for that to continue, and we expect him to be one of the better players in the league again. How he plays will dictate how well his team plays; that's how important he's become. Being the Player of the Match in the Club World Cup final won't be bad for his confidence.

Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

We don't see Palace holding onto Eberechi Eze this transfer window, which will be a huge loss for the club. If he does leave, their next best player, in our eyes at least, is Adam Wharton, who we think has the potential to be world-class, dictating play from the base of midfield.

Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

The current Everton squad leaves much to be desired, with very few players sticking out as top-level Premier League talents. One that does, is Jarrad Branthwaite, who looks set to leave Merseyside at some point. If Everton can hold onto him for one more season, he could be the difference between relegation or staying up.

Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Emile Smith Rowe perhaps slightly underperformed in his first season at Fulham, despite putting in some good performances. Now, in his second season at the club, we expect him to up his game and become the focal point of the Cottager's attack. His talent has been obvious for years, now he just needs to put it all together.

Leeds United - Sean Longstaff

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Sean Longstaff has been brought in to sure up the midfield for Leeds United, and with his ability to dictate games and score goals when needed, Longstaff will be invaluable if Leeds are to stay up this season.

Manchester City - Omar Marmoush

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

We continue the Egyptian theme with Omar Marmoush, who impressed in his half-season with City. Marmoush will have to share the spotlight with Erling Haaland, who expect to score as many goals as ever. It will be down to Pep Guardiola to figure out how to get both into the side, which is something we expect him to work out fairly easily.

Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

If he doesn't leave this summer, the answer is obviously Bruno Fernandes. We have a feeling he'll stay at Old Trafford for one more season, as he may want to right some wrongs from last year. He's one of the best players in the league, consistently putting the team on his back by scoring and assisting goals. United have started to add talent to their attack, which should make Bruno's life a whole lot easier.

Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

With Alexander Isak all but out the door at Newcastle United, new signing Anthony Elanga is imperative to Newcastle's offensive threat next season. He provided six goals and 11 assists for Nottingham Forest last season.

Nottingham Forest - Murillo

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Nottingham Forest's Brazlian defender Murillo has emerged as one of the best players at his position in the league in the past two seasons. His robust defending, and good ball playing, make him almost unique. There have been rumours linking him to Liverpool, so there could be a battle to keep him.

Sunderland - Granit Xhaka

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

A steely midfielder who knows all about title races in the Premier League and Bundesliga, Granit Xhaka will bring invaluable experience, quality, and that nasty edge that Sunderland will need if they are to stay up.

Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Micky van de Ven's previous campaign was stop start as the Dutchman dealt with nagging injuries throughout. When healthy, he showed how good he can be, using his ridiculous pace to close down attackers, even when all seems lost. Spurs are in a difficult position currently, and will need players like the Dutchman to step up.

West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Let's predict!, Arsenal - Bukayo Saka, Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo, Brentford - Yoane Wissa, Brighton & Hove Albion - Jack Hinshelwood, Burnley - Kyle Walker, Chelsea - Cole Palmer, Crystal Palace - Adam Wharton, Everton - Jarrad Branthwaite, Fulham - Emile Smith Rowe, Leeds United - Sean Longstaff, Manchester City - Omar Marmoush, Manchester United - Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United - Anthony Elanga, Nottingham Forest - Murillo, Sunderland - Granit Xhaka, Tottenham Hotspur - Micky van de Ven, West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen

Another great season for Jarrod Bowen saw him score 13 goals and assist 8 more for a West Ham team that struggled for most of the year. Without Bowen, we're not sure where the Hammers would be currently.
