The transfer window is in full swing, and deals are being made up and down the Premier League, so let’s have a look at the best signing made by every Premier League club so far. We are going to include those signings that are completed, just not made official by the club yet.

Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Arsenal needed a new defensive midfielder, and they have signed one of the best in Europe in Martin Zubimendi. The club hasn’t announced his signature yet, but transfer gurus David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano have confirmed he will be moving to north London. He could be the player the Gunners need to finally win a trophy after coming so close in recent years.

Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Bournemouth have become one of the shrewdest clubs in the league recently, able to sign quality players at bargain prices. The Cherries have lost Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez is set to leave, too, meaning defensive reinforcements are the order of the day, and they may have found a gem in Adrien Truffert, who at just 23, and with a France cap, looks like another smart signing.

Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Brentford sold Mark Flekken for roughly £11m (€13m/$15m) and signed Caoimhin Kelleher for roughly the same amount in what could be a great piece of business. Kelleher has proven himself a starting-level goalkeeper whenever he’s had to step in for Alisson at Liverpool.

Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Brighton splashed the cash to bring in teenage sensation Charalampos Kostoulas from Olympiacos, and it could prove to be a great decision given the reputation he has earned in his young career. Brighton are almost always ahead of the game with signings, so don’t be surprised if he’s sold for a huge profit in a few years.

Burnley: Marcus Edwards

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Anyone whose had the pleasure of watching Marcus Edwards play, knows how exciting he can be. When he’s playing well, it’s like the ball is glued to his feet, such is his dribbling prowess. Burnley will need an x-factor if they want to stay up this season, Edwards will need to be that guy and win them games by himself.

Chelsea: Liam Delap

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Estevao Willian is another option here, but we confess, we haven’t watched much of the 18-year-old Brazilian, despite the comparisons to Messi. Instead, we are going for a player we’re more familiar with in Liam Delap, who looks like an old-school number 9, willing to throw his body about when needed and is capable of scoring plenty of Premier League goals.

Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Not the most exciting start to a window for Palace, who so far have only been concretely linked to Walter Benitez, PSV’s former goalkeeper, who they look to be signing on a free when his contract expires, per BBC Sport. We’re sure they will want to make some more additions, we’re just not sure who yet.

Fulham: N/A

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

So far, there has been very little movement from the Cottagers, who are rumoured to be looking to bring back midfielder Joao Palhinha after an unsuccessful stint at Bayern Munich.

Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Leeds added the former Wolfsburg winger Lukas Nmecha after winning the battle to sign him on a free transfer. The former Germany international is a fast and direct winger or forward who should add some dynamism to Leeds’ attack.

Liverpool: Florian Wirtz

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Another signing that hasn’t yet been made official, but all the usual suspects have confirmed it’s going to happen, so we’re choosing it here. Wirtz is one of the best young players in Europe and looked destined to sign for Bayern, only for Liverpool to swoop in and steal him away. It’s an incredible show of ambition from the Premier League champions.

Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Kevin De Bruyne has left City after years of stellar performances. City have replaced him with Dutchman Tijjani Reijnders, who they signed from AC Milan. They’re not quite like for like players, but Reijnders operates in similar areas and should replace a lot of De Bruyne’s goals and assists.

Manchester United: Matheus Cunha

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

It looked as though United had wrapped up the singing of Bryan Mbeumo, too, only for that to go cold recently. So, instead, we’ve chosen Matheus Cunha as the Red Devils’ top signing so far. Cunha is a maverick, but he should add goals to a United attack that struggled to score them last season.

Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Antonio Cordero had many suitors around Europe, so his decision to sign for Newcastle shouldn’t go unnoticed. The talented Spanish winger is currently away with the Spanish u19 team, and by all accounts, is looking like one of the best players at this summer’s UEFA Under 19 Euro Finals.

Nottingham Forest: N/A

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Per TeamTalk, Forest have made contact with Brentford over a deal for Yoanne Wissa, but so far, there has been no deal reached. It could be an interesting summer for Forest, who had a great 24/25 season, but will need to strengthen if they want to replicate their success.

Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Enzo Le Fee played a significant role in getting Sunderland promoted last season whilst on loan from Roma, so it makes sense for the Black Cats to sign him to a long term deal. He should add some much-needed control at the heart of Sunderland’s midfield.

Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

It’s fair to say, despite his reputation, Mathys Tel hasn’t quite hit the heights some would have hoped during his young career. The Frenchman is clearly talented, he’s just not put it all together yet. Now, having signed permanently with Spurs, he has a chance to grow and develop.

West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Wheeling and dealing, Arsenal: Martin Zubimendi, Bournemouth: Adrien Truffert, Brentford: Caoimhin Kelleher, Brighton & Hove Albion: Charalampos Kostoulas, Burnley: Marcus Edwards, Chelsea: Liam Delap, Crystal Palace: Walter Benitez, Fulham: N/A, Leeds United: Lukas Nmecha, Liverpool: Florian Wirtz, Manchester City: Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester United: Matheus Cunha, Newcastle United: Antonio Cordero, Nottingham Forest: N/A, Sunderland: Enzo Le Fee, Tottenham Hotspur: Mathys Tel, West Ham United: Jean-Clair Todibo

Admittedly, this is a bit of a cop-out, as Todibo was signed on loan last season with an obligation to buy this summer, per BBC Sport. Still, he’s the only incoming business the Hammers have completed so far.
