Senate Republicans have voiced concern over delays in confirming numerous nominees of President Donald Trump. Sen. Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) stated that obstruction by Senate Democrats has disrupted the nomination process and poses risks to key legislative priorities. He warned that continued delays could establish a precedent with lasting consequences.
