Getting the latest Samsung Galaxy Z foldables? Here’s how to get them with the best deals
This post is brought to you by Samsung.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 at its recent Unpacked event, marking the biggest leap for its foldables in years. With a thinner and lighter design, larger cover screens, and greater versatility, the new models offer a more seamless and user-friendly foldable experience.
Let’s take a look at the improvements you get with Samsung’s latest foldables over their predecessors.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 vs Z Fold6: Slimmer Frame, Bigger View, Sharper Shots, Stronger Heart

Take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, and it’s impossible not to notice how thin it is. Measuring just 8.9mm when folded and, more impressively, 4.2mm when unfolded, it’s over 26% thinner than its predecessor, and a whopping 48% thinner than the original Galaxy Fold.
Pick it up, and the difference in weight is just as noticeable. At only 215g, the Z Fold7 is around 10% lighter than the Z Fold6. In fact, it’s not only lighter than most book-style foldables, but also slimmer than many traditional flagships, including that one from the Fruit Brand.

Despite being thinner and lighter, Samsung has managed to give the Galaxy Z Fold7 larger, higher-resolution displays both inside and out.
On the outside, there’s a 6.5” Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display that’s now wider, making it more comfortable and practical to use like a regular candybar phone.

Need more screen real estate for productivity or multitasking? Unfold it to reveal the 8” Foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display, now 11% larger than last year’s Z Fold6 — the perfect combination for a true two-in-one device.
And with great power comes great performance. Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Z Fold7 with Qualcomm’s best mobile chipset — the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy — to fully unlock its upgraded capabilities.

The improvements don’t stop there. In the optics department, the Z Fold7 takes a big leap with the 200MP main camera borrowed from Samsung’s flagship candybar, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Delivering 4x the detail and 44% more brightness than the Z Fold6’s 50MP sensor, it also supports 2x optical zoom.
For even more reach, there’s a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and when you want to capture more of the scene, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens is ready to go.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 vs Z Flip6: More Screen, More Stamina, More Smarts

Aside from the Galaxy Z Fold7, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 has also received a major round of upgrades, and it shows.
Starting with the cover screen, you now get a 4.1” Super AMOLED FlexWindow that stretches edge-to-edge. Measuring over 20% larger than the Flip6’s, it gives you more room to work with, whether it’s checking notifications, replying to messages, or snapping quick selfies.

And thanks to the addition of Galaxy AI features like Now Brief, Now Bar, and even Gemini Live, you can do more without ever unfolding the phone. The panel also gets a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, is now 63% brighter with a peak of 2,600 nits, and thanks to slimmer bezels, the Galaxy Z Flip7 remains as pocketable as ever.
Flip it open and you’ll be greeted by a 6.9” Foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display, up from the Flip6’s 6.7” panel. With its 21:9 aspect ratio, it’s practically a portable cinema in your hand, perfect for streaming movies or catching up on your favourite shows.

The camera experience takes a notable leap too, especially for selfies. The larger FlexWindow makes framing shots easier than ever, while the 50MP main camera and 12MP ultra-wide handle everything from sharp portraits to sweeping landscapes. A 10MP front camera is on hand for crisp video calls, and with the new ProVisual Engine, you get 10-bit HDR video with 4x richer colours compared to the Z Flip6. Portrait modes, real-time filters, and an improved UI round out the upgrade, making shooting more fun and intuitive.
Battery life has also been given a boost. A larger 4,300mAh cell replaces the Flip6’s 4,000mAh unit, offering up to 31 hours of video playback on a single charge — easily lasts you through a full day and night.

And for the first time ever, the Galaxy Z Flip line gains Samsung DeX support, both wired and wireless. This means you can plug it into a monitor or connect wirelessly to turn it into a productivity hub, complete with a desktop-like interface when you need to work on the big screen.
All of these upgrades come in a chassis that’s over 8% thinner than the Flip6, yet weighs virtually the same — with just a single gram added for all that extra capability — keeping it sleek, stylish, and easy to carry.
