Hello Love!

Thrifting isn’t just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle. Whether you’re chasing the thrill of the hunt, decorating your home on a budget, or just love the charm of secondhand treasures, Chattanooga is full of goldmine spots to explore. I’m sharing my favorite places to go thrifting in Chattanooga, all tested and approved by yours truly.

America’s Thrift Store – Brainerd & Hixson, 2. Bethel Thrift Store – Hixson, 3. Goodwill – Hixson, East Brainerd, and Hwy 58, The Thrift Store – Red Bank, Honorable Mentions:

America’s Thrift Store – Brainerd & Hixson

Both locations are worth the trip! The Brainerd store is new, bright, and packed with home goods and clothing. Hixson tends to have great clothing finds and amazing dishwater selections. I’ve left both stores with arms full of vintage linens, quality clothes, and way too many dishes.

2. Bethel Thrift Store – Hixson

This locally-run gem is clean, friendly, and packed with great deals. I love coming here for affordable housewares, gently used furniture, and quirky little finds. It feels like the kind of place where the staff actually remembers you, which makes it even more charming. I stop here every time I’m in Hixson.

3. Goodwill – Hixson, East Brainerd, and Hwy 58

These three Goodwill locations are my go-to rotation when I’m doing a full thrift circuit. Hwy 58 often has great home and seasonal decor.. East Brainerd is solid for clothing and kitchenware. And Hixson? I’ve never once walked out of that store empty handed! I always find the best treasure there.

The Thrift Store – Red Bank

Don’t let the simple name fool you! This place jam packed full of goodies. It’s a little less picked-over than bigger chains, and you can score everything from mid-century side tables to hand-embroidered linens. It’s cozy, quirky, and always worth a pop-in if you’re nearby.

Honorable Mentions:

  • The Thrift Store – Brainerd Road
  • ReStore – 14th Street
  • Ladies of Charity Thrift Store – Rossville Blvd

If you’re searching for the best places to go thrifting in Chattanooga, you truly don’t have to look far. Whether you’re styling your cozy home, flipping a piece of furniture, or just wandering the aisles for serotonin (relatable), these shops are where the magic happens. Don’t forget your reusable bags and maybe leave a little room in the trunk. You’re sure to find something you weren’t searching for!
