Nick Foles is a forever beloved character in Philadelphia Eagles history after helping them win their first Super Bowl. What some may not know, however, is just how wealthy his family is. His father, Larry, is a well renowned restaurateur, selling his chain, Eddie V's for $59 million, per Heavy.

Johnny Manziel (maybe)

'Johnny Football', as he was known during his incredible college career, definitely comes from money – we just don't have a good understanding of how much. During his Texas A&M years, rumors were spread his great-great-grandfather was a Texas oil tycoon. This turned out to be a lie Manziel created himself to flaunt NCAA rules around receiving payments, per Netlix's documentary 'Johnny Football'.

Still plenty of money

The Manziel family never had the generational wealth of oil barons, but per SportsKeeda, they were never struggling for cash, with a reported family net worth exceeding $50 million. His privilege was arguably a contributing factor to Manziel's failed football career, given his rumored lack of work ethic once he made the NFL.

Patrick Mahomes is one of the greatest quarterbacks the NFL has ever seen, some of which can be explained by his background. His father, Pat Mahomes, played 12 years in the MLB, earning over $3 million, per The Baseball Cube.

In comparison to some on this list, $3 million isn't a huge sum of money, and it may be dwarfed by what Patrick Mahomes is now earning in the NFL. Pat Mahomes Sr. was forced to earn his MLB salary, bouncing around 7 teams during his career, as well as spending many seasons in the minor leagues.

Connor McGovern

You may not know who Connor McGovern is, unless you are a fan of one of the teams he played for. Centers tend not to be the most famous players out there. If you are familiar with commercial potato companies, however, you may know his grandfather, Ron Offutt. He started the RD Offutt Company, which grows more potatoes than anyone else in the world, reports talkSPORT.

Half a billion

McGovern's family oversees the company, which is worth up to $500 million dollars. Not a bad gig if you can get it. For his part, he snubbed the chance to work for the family business, at least for now, and chose to pursue his passion of playing in the NFL. Per OverTheCap, that decision may have been a good one, having earned over $26 million since entering the league.

Threw it all away

Despite growing up with such privilege, and then achieving his own dream of reaching the NFL, Kellen Winslow II threw everything away after receiving a 14-year prison sentence in 2021 for a series of sex crimes, reports ESPN.

Christian McCaffrey

Christian McCaffrey's father, Ed, is also a former NFL player who played for the New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, and Denver Broncos in the 1990s and 2000s. He is a former Pro Bowler and three-time Super Bowl champion.

According to Over the Cap, McCaffrey's career earnings of $18,560,640 gave Christian the best start in his life and helped him become an NFL superstar with the San Francisco 49ers.

Peyton and Eli are two of the most influential figures in the NFL over the past couple of decades, and it's no surprise when you know their family history. Their father, Archie, played in the NFL for over a decade, earning millions of dollars himself. Both Peyton and Eli earned tens of millions during their careers.

The third Manning brother, Cooper, made plenty of cash himself, with Fan Arch reporting his net worth at $13 million through his work as the Senior Managing Director of Investor Relations at AJ Capital Partners. Cooper's son, Arch, has an NIL valuation of $6.5 million himself, per Forbes, as he enters his third year at Texas.
