2025 NFL Report Card: Grading Every Team's Wide Receiver Corps (Post-NFL Draft)

With the 2025 NFL Draft now behind us, the rosters for every team are coming into focus. Read ahead as we drop our NFL Offseason Report Card and offer up grades for all 32 NFL wide receiver corps after the draft…
Arizona Cardinals

Notable WRs on Roster: Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, Zay Jones, Greg Dortch
We’ll give the Cardinals a half-letter grade bump for tight end Trey McBride being on the roster, but things are pretty ugly in the wide receiver room. All-world prospect Marvin Harrison Jr. had a respectable rookie campaign, logging 885 yards and eight TDs on 62 receptions, though the Cardinals will surely look for more out of the second-year pro in 2025. Behind Harrison, this group gets real thin, real fast. Wilson ranked 80th out of 98 WRs in Overall PFF Grade last season, while Dortch has never topped 500 receiving yards in a season across his five-year NFL career.
Grade: D+
Atlanta Falcons

Notable WRs on Roster: Drake London, Darnell Mooney, Ray-Ray McCloud, Khadarel Hodge
Atlanta’s recent decision to exercise the fifth-year option for Drake London displays their belief in his ability. He’ll been in for an extension soon, as he cracked the 1,000-yard receiving mark for the first time in his career last season. The eighth-overall pick in the 2022 draft, London is the type of player you can build a receiving corps around.
The Falcons have tried to compliment London – and to a smaller extent, tight end Kyle Pitts – with speed in the form of Darnell Mooney and Ray-Ray McCloud. A free-agent signee from Chicago, Mooney provided a boost to the Atlanta passing attack in his first year with the team, averaging 9.4 yards per target in 2024.
Grade: C+
Baltimore Ravens

Notable WRs on Roster: Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, DeAndre Hopkins, Tylan Wallace
Veteran receiver DeAndre Hopkins joined the Ravens on a one-year, $5 million deal this offseason. At 32 years old, D-Hop’s prime is behind him, though he’ll bring much needed depth and experience to this group. Flowers’ growth continued in his second NFL season, as he cracked 1,000 receiving yards, while Bateman also showed promise with career-best marks in receiving yards and TDs. Toss in the pass-catching abilities of Baltimore’s tight end group, and Lamar Jackson should be excited for 2025.
Grade: B+
Buffalo Bills

Notable WRs on Roster: Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Josh Palmer, Curtis Samuel
The 2024 mid-season trade for Amari Cooper didn’t pan out and the veteran is currently a free agent. Buffalo did agree to an extension with Shakir, who has been a dependable option for Bills QB Josh Allen. The reigning AFC East champs also brought in former Chargers receiver Joshua Palmer, who should add some stability as Coleman looks to grow ahead of his second NFL campaign. The Buffalo front office is hoping for a “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts” thing here, though this group is currently devoid of a superstar.
Grade: C
Carolina Panthers

Notable WRs on Roster: Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Thielen, Jalen Coker
The addition of Tet McMillan with the eighth overall pick of the NFL Draft certainly adds some talent to this Panthers receiving corps. McMillan is a prototypical WR1 with pro-ready size and speed. He’ll be flanked by two second-year receivers in Legette and Coker, both of whom shown some flashes during their rookie seasons. Thielen brings a veteran presence to the group, as well as a set of sure hands for developing QB Bryce Young.
Grade: C+
Chicago Bears

Notable WRs on Roster: D.J. Moore, Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, Olamide Zaccheaus
This group has gotten noticeably younger during the offseason thanks to the departure of Keenan Allen in free agency and the addition of Luther Burden III via the draft. Moore was a superstar trapped in a broken offense last season – and he let that frustration show at times. He should fare much better in Ben Johnson’s scheme. Odunze showed enough promise in his 734-yard rookie campaign to make us believe he’ll take a step forward this season, while Burden was arguably a first-round talent who fell to the Bears in the second round. This is an interesting collection of talent.
Grade: B+
Cincinnati Bengals

Notable WRs on the Roster: Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Jermain Burton, Andre Iosivas
Chase and Higgins form one of the most feared wide receiver duos in the NFL. While it looked as though Higgins was on his way out of Cincinnati due to financial reasons, the Bengals made the money work in order to extend Chase and re-sign Higgins ahead of 2025. Not sure what else you need with these two in your WR room, but Iosivas was solid – if unspectacular – contributor last year. Burton appears to be an exceptional talent who could really impact this offense, but it remains to be seen if he can get his head on straight enough to actually get on the field.
Grade: A+
Cleveland Browns

Notable WRs on Roster: Jerry Jeudy, Cedric Tillman, Diontae Johnson, Jamari Thrash
It was a breakout season for former first-round pick and Denver Bronco, Jeudy, who logged career highs in both receptions and receiving yards in his first year in Cleveland. The Browns are likely highly optimistic on second-year pro Tillman, who displayed flashes of brilliance in 2024. Cleveland’s recent acquisition of Diontae Johnson is an intriguing one… will they get the Pittsburgh/Carolina version or the Baltimore/Houston disaster?
Grade: C-
Dallas Cowboys

Notable WRs on Roster: CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Kavontae Turpin, Jalen Tolbert, Jonathan Mingo
Though his numbers (understandably) dipped a bit in 2024 due to injuries to both himself and QB Dak Prescott, Lamb remains one of the best receivers in the league. Dallas’ recent trade for George Pickens is certainly an eye-opener, as he’s one of the NFL’s most dangerous deep threats and possesses all the physical tools needed to be a special player.
The drop-off is noticeable after the Cowboys’ “big two”, however, Tolbert and Turpin did log career-high production in 2024. This grade is tentative, and due to Lamb’s greatness, but will largely depend on how Pickens’ fares in Big D.
Grade: B
Denver Broncos

Notable WRs on Roster: Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims, Devaughn Vele, Pat Bryant, Troy Franklin
Sutton gelled nicely with rookie QB Bo Nix, and posted the first 1,000+ yard season of his career in 2024. He enters 2025 as Denver’s clear-cut WR1. Not much else is certain on the Broncos depth chart. Mims flashed game-breaking ability and showcased blazing speed, though he’s yet to find any level of consistency. A 2024 seventh-round pick, Vele is an impressive physical specimen and showed he has what it takes to play in the NFL in his rookie season.
Grade: C-
Detroit Lions

Notable WRs on Roster: Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Tim Patrick, Isaac TeSlaa, Kalif Raymond
Resident superstar St. Brown logged his third consecutive season of 105+ catches and 1,100+ yards last year. He shows no signs of slowing down, though it will be interesting to see how he – and this Detroit passing attack as a whole – is impacted by the departure of former OC Ben Johnson. 2022 first-round pick Williams is a special player that the Lions have been waiting to emerge for years. He finally paid off Detroit’s patience in 2024 with 1,001 yards and seven TDs in his most productive NFL season to date.
Grade: B+
Green Bay Packers

Notable WRs on Roster: Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Matthew Golden, Dontayvion Wicks, Savion Williams
The Green Bay receiving corps boasts a ton of talent and potential, but is there an alpha in the bunch? The Packers hope that first-round pick Matthew Golden can come in and win that role. Green Bay went back to the WR well in the third round of the draft with Savion Williams, which makes me believe that one of the incumbents might be in trouble. Reed, Watson, Doubs, and Wicks all had some moments in 2024, but need to prove they can stay on the field and produce consistently. If the pecking order is figured out and they remain healthy, this could be an “A” group by the end of 2025.
Grade: B-
Houston Texans

Notable WRs on Roster: Nico Collins, Tank Dell (IR), John Metchie, Christian Kirk, Jayden Higgins, Jaylin Noel
Houston was plagued by injuries to their WR corps in 2024 with Nico Collins, Stefon Diggs, and Tank Dell all missing time with injuries. With Dell expected to miss the entirety of the 2025 season and Diggs now in New England, the Texans will field a retooled group in the upcoming season.
Collins is the unquestioned alpha of the bunch. Physically imposing with speed, Collins topped 1,000 receiving yards for the second consecutive season despite suiting up in just 12 games. The inter-division addition of Kirk is an intriguing one, as is the decision to add Higgins and Noel in the draft. There are more questions than answers with this group at the moment, but there’s certainly potential.
Grade: B-
Jacksonville Jaguars

Notable WRs on Roster: Brian Thomas Jr., Travis Hunter, Dyami Brown, Parker Washington
Jacksonville’s recent decision to cut Gabe Davis just a year after signing him to a free-agent contract was just the latest sign that new GM James Gladstone is set on rebuilding this WR corps. The Jags new front office also orchestrated the trade of Christian Kirk to the Texans in March.
Those departures leave second-year pro Brian Thomas Jr. atop the depth chart. Thomas put forth a star-making rookie campaign, tallying 1,282 yards and 10 TDs. He’ll be joined by this year’s No. 2 overall draft pick Travis Hunter, a two-way unicorn is expected to be featured heavily on offense at the outset of his career. Returning receiver Washington and offseason acquisition Brown round out the main cast of this top-heavy group.
Grade: B-
Kansas City Chiefs

Notable WRs on Roster: Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, Marquise Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Jalen Royals
Last year’s mid-season acquisition DeAndre Hopkins is now in Baltimore, but the defending AFC Champions should get Rashee Rice back from an injury that ended his 2024 campaign prematurely. Rice will be surrounded by second-year pro Worthy, who was a big-play threat while posting 638 yards and six TDs in his rookie season, and Brown, who missed the vast majority of last season before suiting up in the playoffs. If this group can stay on the field at the same time, they have a chance to be special with Patrick Mahomes throwing them the football.
Grade: B+
Las Vegas Raiders

Notable WRs on Roster: Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker, Jack Bech, Dont’e Thornton
When your team’s best pass catcher is a tight end, you might be in trouble. Jakobi Meyers put forth a valiant effort last season en route to 1,024 yards, but this group still ranked as one of the worst in the league in 2024. The Raiders tried to address that issue with the selection of Jack Bech in the second round and Dont’e Thornton in the fourth round of the NFL Draft, though this receiving corps will be battling uphill in 2025.
Grade: F
Los Angeles Chargers

Notable WRs on Roster: Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, Mike Williams, Tre Harris
McConkey looked like a star down the stretch of his rookie season, ultimately recording seven TDs with 1,149 receiving yards. Quentin Johnston remains a frustrating enigma, though 711 yards and eight TDs was inarguably a step in the right direction in comparison to his brutal rookie campaign. The Chargers selected Ole Miss wideout Tre Harris in the second round of the 2025 draft. A consistent deep threat, he profiles as the perfect compliment to McConkey.
Grade: C+
Los Angeles Rams

Notable WRs on Roster: Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington
With resident superstar slot man Cooper Kupp now in Seattle, the Rams brought in veteran Davante Adams ahead of the 2025 season. Despite a mid-season transition from the Raiders to the Jets, and appearing in just 14 games, Adams still managed to top 1,000 receiving yards for the sixth time in his last seven seasons. He’ll be a strong addition to a Rams group that returns ascending star Puka Nacua. The dynamic duo of Adams and Nacua will be complimented by Atwell and Whittington.
Grade: A
Miami Dolphins

Notable WRs on Roster: Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Malik Washington
Last year was a nice reminder that this Dolphins receiving corps is only as good as Tua Tagovailoa’s health. Assuming Tua stays on the field in 2025, this remains a fast, dangerous bunch. Tyreek Hill is 31, but still has the speed to be a downfield gamebreaker. Though Waddle’s statistics regressed in 2024, he can still be considered one of the NFL’s best “1B” receivers. The offseason addition of former Titan Nick Westbrook-Ikhine adds some depth alongside second-year pro Washington.
Grade: A-
Minnesota Vikings

Notable WRs on Roster: Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, Jalen Nailor, Rondale Moore, Tai Felton
The Vikings’ wide receiver room is led by arguably the league’s best receiver in Jefferson, a player that’s shredded records since coming into the league in 2020. Addison has proven to be a very effective “Robin” to Jefferson’s “Batman”, as he’s now averaged over 13 yards per reception in both of his pro seasons. Their combined yardage total of 2,408 last season was the second-most by a pair of receiving teammates behind Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. They’ll be complimented by Nailor – who put forth a career year in 2024 – and rookie third-rounder Tai Felton.
Grade: A+
New England Patriots

Notable WRs on Roster: Stefon Diggs, Mack Hollins, DeMario Douglas, Kyle Williams, Kayshon Boutte, Kendrick Bourne, Ja’Lynn Polk
New England made some much-needed offseason additions to what was arguably the worst receiving corps in the league last year. Second-year QB Drake Maye will have new targets in the form of Stefon Diggs, Mack Hollins, and rookie Kyle Williams. Pop Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, Kendrick Bourne, and Ja’Lynn Polk are returning contributors who will continue to fight for snaps in this retooled unit. The 31-year-old Diggs is coming off an ACL tear, but has the chance to tremendously aid Maye’s growth, as does under-the-radar third-rounder Williams. This group is a work in progress, but at least the Patriots front office is trying to make some changes.
Grade: C-
New Orleans Saints

Notable WRs on Roster: Chris Olave, Brandin Cooks, Rashid Shaheed, Bub Means, Cedric Wilson
Thoughts and prayers to this Saints receiving corps, who will now enter 2025 without the recently retired Derek Carr. No matter who the New Orleans starting quarterback ultimately is, the top priority for this group will be staying on the field, something these receivers weren’t very good at last year. Olave missed eight games due to concussions, Shaheed was lost for the season after Week 6, and the veteran Cooks suited up in just 10 contests while with the Cowboys in 2024.
Grade: D+
New York Giants

Notable WRs on Roster: Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton, Wan’Dale Robinson, Jalin Hyatt, Lil’Jordan Humphrey
The Giants are hoping offseason QB upgrades in the forms of Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and first-round draft pick Jaxson Dart will pump some life into this receiving corps. Malik Nabers is a superstar in the making who posted 1,204 yards and seven TDs in his dazzling rookie campaign. New York elected to re-sign big-play threat Slayton rather than letting him walk in free agency, while Robinson has been a short-yardage catch machine. Maybe someone new under center can unlock 2023 third-rounder Hyatt, a blazer who has been a huge disappointment so far?
Grade: C+
New York Jets

Notable WRs on Roster: Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Josh Reynolds, Malachi Corley, Xavier Gipson
There’s lots of uncertainty once you get past Garrett Wilson on the depth chart for the rebuilding Jets. Lazard was brought in to appease former QB Aaron Rodgers, and his future with the team is uncertain. Reynolds is an intriguing offseason addition, though his production has never quite lived up to his potential. 2024 third-round pick Corley will try to bounce back from an abysmal rookie campaign. Lots of question marks here for new Jets QB Justin Fields.
Grade: D+
Philadelphia Eagles

Notable WRs on Roster: A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith, Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson, Terrace Marshall
The superstar duo of A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith are the unquestioned leaders of this group. After that elite pair, the depth chart gets murky for the defending Super Bowl champs. Trading for former Commander Jahan Dotson made little impact, as he logged just 19 receptions in 2024. Youngsters Wilson, Marshall, and Ainias Smith round out what’s a very top-heavy WR corps in Philly. However, Brown and Smith are so great, that the grade has to be high.
Grade: A-
Pittsburgh Steelers

Notable WRs on Roster: DK Metcalf, Roman Wilson, Calvin Austin III, Robert Woods, Ben Skowronek
With George Pickens traded to the Dallas Cowboys, this group looks eerily similar to what the Steelers fielded in 2024, i.e. a lone threat – now DK Metcalf – and not many other proven performers. A third-round pick in 2024, Wilson was a non-factor last season, but likely will be fighting for Austin and recent veteran signee Woods for playing time alongside Metcalf. Many Steelers fans anticipate Aaron Rodgers signing with Pittsburgh ahead of 2025, but there isn’t much talent to entice him in this group of pass catchers.
Grade: F
San Francisco 49ers

Notable WRs on Roster: Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, Demarcus Robinson
The departure of Deebo Samuel paves the way for Aiyuk to take the reigns of the alpha role in this WR room. Can he take advantage after an injury-plagued 2024 campaign? Jennings is the toughest of the bunch and put forth his best on-field production of his career with 975 yards and six TDs last season. 2024 first-round pick Pearsall will look to get back on track following a rookie campaign that was delayed by a freak shooting prior to the regular season.
Grade: C
Seattle Seahawks

Notable WRs on Roster: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Jake Bobo, Tory Horton
With longtime stalwarts DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett now on different teams, the Seahawks will field a new-look WR corps in 2025 led by emerging third-year pro Jaxon Smith-Njigba and veteran offseason acquisition Cooper Kupp. JSN exploded for 1,130 yards and six TDs last season, while Kupp’s injury struggles continued with him only playing 12 games for the Rams. Both will try to get in sync with new Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold.
Grade: C
Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Notable WRs on Roster: Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Jalen McMillan, Emeka Egbuka, Trey Palmer
The Bucs’ WR room boasts an intriguing blend of experience and youth. Both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are set to return. Despite their advancing age, both receivers have been extremely productive when healthy. Rookie Jalen McMillan impressed down the stretch last season and should be a formidable member of this group for years to come. Tampa Bay added to an already-strong corps with the selection of Ohio State’s Egbuka in the first round of this year’s draft. Oddly enough, the most popular player comp for him is Chris Godwin.
Grade: A+
Tennessee Titans

Notable WRs on Roster: Calvin Ridley, Tyler Lockett, Tyler Boyd, Van Jefferson, Elic Ayomanor, Treylon Burks (IR)
Top overall pick Cam Ward will be throwing to a largely veteran group of receivers in Nashville. Tennessee’s corps is headlined by Ridley, who topped 1,000 receiving yards in his first year with the Titans in 2024. Tennessee retained veteran Boyd and will bring in longtime Seahawk Lockett for 2025. It’s safe to label former first-round pick Burks a bust, as he’s been unable to get on the field.
Grade: D+
Washington Commanders

Notable WRs on Roster: Terry McLaurin, Deebo Samuel, Luke McCaffrey, K.J. Osborn, Noah Brown, Jaylin Lane
Following an exciting run to the NFC Championship game in Jayden Daniels rookie season, the Commanders made a splashy offseason move to acquire Deebo Samuel from the 49ers. Samuel brings a much-needed boost to this Washington receiving corps. Resident star McLaurin topped 1,000 receiving yards yet again, while recording a career-high 13 TDs with Daniels under center. Third-round rookie McCaffrey was a non-factor in his first pro season, though could be a contributor in 2025.
GRADE: B+
