Pennsylvania residents get surprise cash as $9.2M in Money Match checks distributed
A second wave of surprise cash is landing in mailboxes across the Commonwealth.
Pennsylvania’s Treasurer, along with several state lawmakers, announced that more than $9.2 million in "Money Match" checks have been sent out to residents. It's all part of a state program that automatically returns unclaimed property to rightful owners with no paperwork needed.
If you received one of those checks, cash it. It’s real money, and it’s already yours.
