New Mexican restaurant opens in Warwick
WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — A new Mexican restaurant opened this week in Warwick.
Mayor Frank Picozzi was there to celebrate the grand opening of Rancho Chico off West Shore Road Thursday afternoon.
The restaurant primarily serves authentic Mexican cuisine and also has a “guacamole bar” in the dining room.
Rancho Chico is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
It’s unclear whether the restaurant is affiliated with the Rancho Chico located in Plainville, Mass. 12 News has reached out for clarification but has not yet heard back.
