Hampton Roads Black Food Festival highlights local cuisine and entrepreneurship
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The inaugural Hampton Roads Black Food Festival took place Saturday at Mount Trashmore Park in Virginia Beach.
The festival, a production of Black on Black Market in Norfolk, was a celebration of food, culture and community. It was held from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
It featured Black-owned food businesses and vendors from across the region.
The event was a showcase of regional entrepreneurship, culinary talent and community connection.
