Westerville Music & Arts Festival to bring creativity, food, more to central Ohio
How much art is too much art?
The correct answer: There's no such thing, at least, according to the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Westerville Music & Arts Festival — which brings over 125 fine art and craft exhibitors along with live music, food and a silent auction — is on its way to central Ohio.
There's no shortage of music either, as Ohio-based country band North to Nashville — along with 30 other performers — draws crowds in for the weekend event.
Whether you come for the local art or the local treasure of Evan Blankenship, the Westerville Music & Arts Festival will put on quite a show.
Stacey Rusterholz, communications and community outreach manager for the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce, which oversees the festival, said this year's event is packed with activities for all ages, food trucks and an appreciation of local art.
"The festival attracts different people for different reasons," Rusterholz said. "Some people are really into food, so they see what we have to offer. We have a great lineup of music and then our key feature are the fine artists who are bringing their beautiful work to sell."
Not to mention an instrument petting zoo, adult beverages and trolleys that make for an ideal festival experience. Here's everything you need to know about the festival.

The Westerville Music & Arts Festival will return from July 12-13.

The food is still something to look forward to though, from Big Pappy's BBQ, Dos Hermanos food truck, Grilled Cheese Gangsters and just enough carnival-style snacks to go around.
Adults can enjoy drinks from Rhinegeist Brewery, North High Brewing and White Claw from 12-7 p.m. on July 12.
On the first floor of the barn, guests can also participate in a silent auction of local artwork from wood, metal and leather jewelry, photography, sculptures and mixed media. The auction will take place from 1-7 p.m. on July 12 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on July 13.
A water-refill station will also be available for the first time.
