Apricot clafoutis with air fryer

Clafoutis is often made with cherries, but it can also be made with other seasonal fruits for a touch of originality. A light, summery version: apricot clafoutis, made with an air fryer. This modern cooking method produces a flavorful, moist dessert in a very short time, while preserving the sweetness of the apricots. A subtle balance between the slightly sweet pastry and the juicy, tangy apricots.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup/50 cl milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup/100 gr flour
  • 1/2 cup/100 gr sugar
  • 1 lb/500 gr apricots
  • 1 Tbsp/20 gr butter

Decoration:

  • 2 tsp icing sugar (+/-)

Materials

  • Air Fryer (Here the Ninja Foodi AF300EU double compartment Air Fryer 7,6L)
  • Mould

Preparation

  • Step 1:

    Break the eggs into a bowl with the sugar and mix.

  • Step 2:

    Add the flour and mix.

  • Step 3:

    Add the milk and melted butter and stir.

  • Step 4:

    Place the apricot halves tightly in the buttered mould.

  • Step 5:

    Pour the batter into the tin over the apricots.

  • Step 6:

    Place the mold in the Air Fryer and bake at 350°F/180°C in "Bake" or "Cake" mode for 40 minutes.

    Leave to cool for several hours (or even overnight) before unmolding.
