Brightline West kicks off July with more fieldwork for high-speed rail project
Brightline West has announced an additional round of field investigation work projects along Interstate 15 in Southern California.
The field work, for the company’s 218-mile high-speed rail project from Las Vegas to Rancho Cucamonga, will occur at various locations within the rail corridor along the I-15 right-of-way.

Brightline West kicks off July with more fieldwork testing for its high-speed rail project along Interstate 15. Work will be conducted on the Southern California side of the Las Vegas to Rancho Cucamonga project.
The work will include geotechnical borings and samplings, utility potholing and land surveying, according to Brightline West.
Work will take place primarily during daytime hours with some activity at night to minimize disruption to traffic. In some instances, short-term closures of freeway shoulders will be required.
Brightline West said that work will be done in compliance with applicable environmental regulations and in coordination with Caltrans.
Motorists should proceed cautiously through work zones and adhere to posted detour signs, speed limits and other signage.
Dates and times are subject to change, as operations are weather-dependent, Brightline officials stated.
