Giannis Antetokounmpo gives answer about his future with the Milwaukee Bucks during a YouTube live stream with iShowSpeed from Greece
Throughout the offseason, the opinions about the Milwaukee Bucks superstar's future with the team have run rampant. But Antetokounmpo hasn't said much.
Well, that changed July 10. Antetokounmpo talked for hours with YouTube content creator iShowSpeed during a live stream in his home country, Greece, that millions of people are watching.

Greece's Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrates after scoring during the 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament semi-final basketball match between Greece and Slovenia at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Athens, on July 6, 2024.
They played basketball, had a viral moment, visited Greek landmarks, talked about his upbringing and, yes, talked about his NBA career.
And he gave an answer to the burning question.
"A lot of people tried to convince me to play there," Antetokounmpo said of New York, after Speed brought up different cities where he wouldn't live.
"Nah," the Greek Freak added about playing in New York.
Then, in response to Speed asking him if he's staying in Milwaukee, Antetokounmpo said, "Probably, probably. We’ll see. We’ll see, probably. I love Milwaukee."
It was his first public comments since the Bucks lost to the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the playoffs at the end of April.
The Journal Sentinel reported in mid-May that Antetokounmpo had grown dissatisfied with the direction of the team following its third consecutive first-round playoff exit. But since the start of free agency, the Bucks shocked the NBA by signing unrestricted free agent center Myles Turner away from the rival Indiana Pacers. They were able to do that by waiving injured guard Damian Lillard and stretching the remaining $113 million of his contract over the next five seasons.
The team also retained big man Bobby Portis Jr., guards Kevin Porter Jr. and Gary Trent Jr. and signed shooting guard Gary Harris.

The Bucks' two-time NBA MVP showed the content creator around Athens, including a stop at the famous Parthenon, and the entire thing was streamed to Speed's 41.8 million subscribers.
In just the first five hours, over two million people have watched the "irl stream."
Speed meets Antetokounmpo on a basketball court in Greece. And it wasn't just any basketball court. It was the site where the future Hall of Famer dunked his first basketball.
"I had my first dunk ever," Antetokounmpo told him. "I tried like six hours straight."
Antetokounmpo recalled his mom watching and capturing the moment.
"14 (years old)," Antetokounmpo said when the dunk happened. "I was skinny as hell."
Oh, and the court features a huge painted image of Antetokounmpo.
"This is my court," said Antetokounmpo, who notes this was the first time in two years that he's been back at the site.
And if anyone also needed reminding about how famous Antetokounmpo is in Greece, a mural of him was plastered across a huge building by the court.
Speed was also in awe over Giannis' athleticism and frame. OK, he needs to watch more Bucks and NBA games on YouTube.
"You're big, man," the 5-foot-8 Speed told him, seemingly shocked by the basketball star's 6-foot-11 stature and physique.
But Antetokounmpo says he's not even the most athletic in his family.
"My older brother is more athletic than me," he said. "And my younger brother, Kostas."
It wouldn't be an iShowSpeed stream without a viral moment. After Speed suggests he wanted to dunk a basketball, Antetokounmpo was skeptical. He didn't think he could even touch the rim.
Speed, who has appeared at WWE's WrestleMania in the past with friend Logan Paul, was up for the challenge. He first showed off his athleticism by jumping up to the rim and doing a pull-up there. And then moments later, he dunked the ball on the same court Giannis had his first.
"That's insane," Antetokounmpo said, as a crowd of people started to congregate by the court.
They continued the stream in a vehicle and then to a rooftop setting, where Giannis knew everyone.
