Traffic moving slowly after part of US-30 in Lancaster County reopens amid flooding
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Traffic is slowly moving on part of US-30 in Lancaster County after the highway shutdown during heavy rainfall amidst storms that were hitting the central Pennsylvania area.
Photos from 511PA show that US-30 in Lancaster County at the Prospect Road exit was closed, but it is open again. Debris was littered on the roads, and traffic reached a standstill as the roads became flooded.
Numerous roads in the Midstate are flooded as storms continue to hit the Central Pennsylvania region Monday evening. Officials say areas of Mount Joy and Elizabethtown Boroughs are experiencing flooding.
