Here's when students in Memphis, Shelby County, DeSoto County go back to school
As the hottest parts of summer begin in the month of July, so does back-to-school shopping and soaking in the last bits of summer break.
DeSoto County Schools will head back the earliest in the region on July 31. Most municipal schools will head back to the classroom on the same day, with Memphis-Shelby County Schools heading back the earliest in Shelby County.
