Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)’s approval rating has fallen to 34% as he has begun campaigning for re-election in 2026. Despite past strong support, Graham has faced challenges from former Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer and businessman Mark Lynch, who have questioned his conservative record. Despite raising nearly $16 million, South Carolina’s political landscape has made his path to re-election more uncertain.

President Donald Trump has endorsed Graham ahead of his 2026 re-election campaign, but Graham faces notable challenges from within his own party. Bauer and Lynch have joined the race to challenge Graham from the right.
