After months of speculation about a possible divorce between Barack and Michelle Obama, the couple has finally broken their silence to discuss their relationship.
Michelle's podcast
The former US president appeared on his wife's podcast, "IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson (her brother-in-law)," to discuss a variety of topics. The couple decided to start with an update on their marriage.
Barack joked that she 'took him back'
Upon arriving on the podcast, Barack expressed that she had accepted him back into her life. The marriage was "on the rocks" for a moment, the former president joked.
Whenever they appear separately, rumors begin.
Michelle Obama's brother also joked that it was good to see them together in the same space again. "I know because when we aren’t, folks think we’re divorced," Michelle joked.

Robinson also shared an anecdote about a time he was at an airport when a woman approached him, asking for a photo and also asking him about his sister's relationship with the former president. His brother stated that after reassuring the woman about the Obama marriage, she was very happy. "She was as happy as if I had given her a Christmas present," he said, laughing.
Barack is always surprised by rumors
On the other hand, Barack explained that he never hears about these rumors. "Somebody will mention it to me and I’m like what are you talking about?" he asserted.
Difficult times
Despite the unity they've demonstrated, Michelle affirmed that during their more than 30 years of marriage, there have been difficult moments, but also adventures. "I have become a better person because of the man I'm married to," she declared.
Michelle doesn't give up on her man
Michelle took the opportunity to assure us that despite the difficult times they've endured, she hasn't thought about divorce. "There hasn't been one moment in our marriage where I thought about quitting my man," she stated.
The beginning of rumors
It was in January of this year that rumors of possible problems between the Obamas began, as the former first lady decided not to attend the inauguration of the current US president, Donald Trump.
