I Know What You Did Last Summer

Decades after the blockbuster first film, the franchise returns. This time, after covering up a fatal accident, the group of young people decides to search for the survivors of the 1997 massacre in the hopes of saving them from the killer.

Fantastic Four: First Steps

This film generated great anticipation, especially after failed attempts to revitalize the franchise. With Pedro Pascal as the group's new leader (pictured right), it appears that Marvel found its next box office success, on par with The Avengers.

Materialists - July 31

This romantic comedy, written and directed by Celine Song, stars Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal. Set in the world of high-end New York relationships, the plot follows a love triangle between a matchmaker, her aspiring actor ex-boyfriend, and a charismatic millionaire.

The N***d Gun - August 1

Liam Neeson faces the challenge of replacing Leslie Nielsen as the clumsy Frank Drebin. It remains to be seen how they'll update the humor and adapt the politically incorrect comedy to modern times.

Freakier Friday - August 8

Inspired by Mary Rodgers' book, the new 'Freaky Friday' is the sequel to the 2003 film and the seventh in the franchise. Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan return as Tess and Anna Coleman, with Julia Butters and Manny Jacinto joining the cast.

Weapons - August 8

A small rural town is shaken by a dark and inexplicable event: all the children in a school class disappear simultaneously, on the same day and time. Only one of them remains.

One Battle After Another - August 8

The plot of this crime thriller revolves around a group of former revolutionaries who must reunite to rescue the daughter of one of their members. The cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Regina Hall, Benicio del Toro, and Sean Penn.

The Last Blue (O Último Azul) - August 28

Starring Rodrigo Santoro, the film follows Tereza, a 77-year-old woman who sets off on a journey along the Amazon rivers to fulfill a dream before being sent to a nursing home.

The Conjuring: Last Rites - September 5

The film promises to be a tense conclusion to the horror franchise, launched in 2013 by James Wan. The film is inspired by the supernatural performances of American couple Ed and Lorraine Warren, played by Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson.

Starring Mauro Souza, the production revisits the trajectory of his father, Maurício de Sousa, the famous Brazilian comic book artist and creator of the iconic 'Turma da Mônica'.

Mortal Kombat II - October 24
