The colorful mural invites guests to explore the "bizarre," "big," and "unforgettable" things the museum has to offer.

The mural was designed by Doe Anderson and painted by OSRS Mural Co.

“Kentucky is cool—and just by looking at this mural, you can see some of the great stories people all around the world can relate to—things displayed right here at the Frazier,” president and CEO of Frazier Museum, Andy Treinen said in a news conference Friday.

At the news conference, Frazier Museum also celebrated winning the Best Museum in Kentucky award from Kentucky Living Magazine.

A plethora of stories and items from the museum can be spotted in the mural; including the moonbow, the Corvette C6, Buffy the Bison, an original Cabbage Patch Kids doll and more unique gems.

A QR code is also included in the mural that led to the Frazier Museum's Spotify playlist Musical Kentucky: A song from each county.

Five painters, 500 hours and roughly 25 gallons of paint created this mural on Ninth Street.

Frazier Museum says that once Main Street is converted to two-way traffic, drivers can see the mural as they enter downtown.
