Tottenham and Manchester United combined 11 after the Europa League final
Ange delivers

Tottenham Hotspur prevailed in what is being viewed as a pretty poor final against Manchester United. Both sides looked scrappy on the ball and struggled for rhythm as a result. It matters not for Spurs fans, who get to celebrate their first trophy since 2008. Given the obvious struggles from both sides, picking a combined eleven wasn't easy, but take a look and see how we've done. All stats per Transfermarkt.
(GK) Guglielmo Vicario

It's a toss-up between Vicario and Manchester United's Andre Onana in goal, with both not having perfect seasons. We have chosen Vicario because of Onana's glaring mistakes and Vicario's ability to be an elite shot-stopper when he is in peak form.
(CB) Cristian Romero

A World Cup winner and a player desperate to win his first major trophy with Spurs, Cristian Romero is an automatic selection in this combined 11. The defender is physically robust and accomplished in possession. He was exceptional for Spurs in the semi-final against Bodo/Glimt.
(CB) Micky van de Ven

His playing partner, Micky van de Ven, is in the center-back position next to him. Tottenham has had so much trouble because of their injury woes in central defence, but when Van de Ven is fit, he bolsters blistering pace and a fantastic left foot. His athletic block late in the final was one of the pivotal moments in the match, saving his goalkeeper's blushes.
(LB) Destiny Udogie

Destiny Udogie is another player who has struggled with injuries this season, playing only 24 league games. However, when fit, Udogie has been a revelation in the inverted fullback role, playing in and out of central midfield and being a creative spark from crosses.
(DM) Casemiro

Five-time Champions League winner Casemiro has had an up-and-down time at Manchester United, but in the semi-final against Athletic Bilbao, he proved why he's been one of the best midfielders in the world, dictating the game and scoring a goal in both legs of the tie.
(CM) Bruno Fernandes

By far the best player on both teams, Bruno Fernandes has carried Manchester United this season, registering seven goals and five assists in Europe and eight and nine assists in the Premier League. He shouldn't be playing at the bottom of the Premier League. Like the rest of his team, Bruno couldn't get into the game against Spurs, putting in one of his worst performances in recent memory.
(CM) James Maddison

Despite having an injury-hampered season, James Maddison's creativity and first-class control are essential in being an exceptional midfield player. Maddison can take any team to the next level, producing nine goals and seven assists in the Premier League this season. Unfortunately, he won't play in the final due to a knee injury.
(LW) Heung-min Son

In Heung-min Son's supposedly worst season for Tottenham, the South Korean has still produced 11 goals and 12 assists in all competitions, showing his consistency and talent despite his team's level.
(ST) Dom Solanke

A striker who works hard, can hold the ball up, and scores goals, Dom Solanke hasn't had the best campaign, but five goals and four assists in the Europa League have been imperative to Spurs' success. Solanke is one of the best finishers in the world on his day.
(Manager) Ruben Amorim

Both Ange Postecoglou and Ruben Amorim have had miserable league seasons, but we have picked Amorim based on their run to the Europa League final. United beat Real Sociedad, Lyon, and Athletic Bilbao, while Spurs beat AZ, Frankfurt, and Bodo/Glimt. Ange prevailed in the final, but if we had to choose one of these two managers for the future, it would be the Manchester United man.
(Super Sub) Dejan Kulusevski

Dejan Kulusevski has a wicked left foot that can be deadly from anywhere. Despite not being in top form this season, the Swedish star could be an effective attacker off the bench, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in the Premier League this season.
(Super Sub) Kobbie Mainoo

Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo is still a teenager, but he's proven to be a midfielder who can dictate the game, make tackles, and score important goals, including his finish against Lyon in the quarterfinals. He has scored two goals and provided one assist in Europe this season.
