LGBTQ+ Geek Trivia Night

Wednesday, June 2

Battle and Brew is a video game restaurant in Sandy Springs that hosts regular trivia nights. This one starts at 8 p.m. and with questions about queer icons, drag legends, queer-coded villains, and more. There will also be themed drinks and prizes. Cosplay and glitter are encouraged. Tickets are free, but you need to RSVP ahead of time at exploretock.com.

Colgay Pride of Columbus

Friday, June 6 - Saturday, June 7

The Mr/Miss/Mx Columbus Georgia Pride Pageant is 7-10 p.m. Friday at Woodruff Riverfront Park. The entry fee is $50 with the winner receiving a crown, sash, and gift basket. Bring chairs to it. The Columbus LGBTQ Pride Festival is 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at Woodruff Park with the theme being "Resilience in the Face of Adversity." There will be food, a parade, music, drag queens, live entertainment, and vendors. For more info, go to colgaypride.org.

Athens PrideFest

Saturday, June 7

The festival opens to the public free of charge at 3 p.m. in downtown Athens with a parade at 5 p.m. There will be food trucks, vendors, and a kids' zone until 8 p.m. "Main stage adult performances" will be 8-10 p.m. There will be an After Pride Show by Athens Showgirl Cabaret from 9 p.m. to midnight at Hendershot's with $5. Those under 18 wanting to go to the after party will need to come with a parent or guardian. For more info, go to athenspride.org.

Drag Me to Church

Sunday, June 22

St. Luke Lutheran Church in Atlanta is hosting a family-friendly, interfaith worship service that honors the legacy of the Stonewall Uprising and celebrates the "full belovedness of LGBTQ+ people in the life of faith." There will be local clergy, musicians, drag performers, and community leaders. The event is at 6 p.m. It's free to attend, but you will need to RSVP ahead of time at eventbrite.com.

Augusta Pride

Friday, June 27 - Saturday, 28

The public festivities kick off with Beats on Broad, a color-themed block party at the Augusta Common starting at 6 p.m. Friday and costing $15. This year's theme is red. The next day is the main Augusta Pride event with a downtown parade at 10 a.m. followed by a free festival in the Common with live music and a variety of vendors. Smyrna Pride

Friday, June 27 - Saturday, 28

The Drag Show Kickoff Party is 7-9:30 p.m. Friday at Vineyard Wine Market. There will be an open bar, light foods, and a DJ. Tickets are $50. The pride festival is noon-6 p.m. Saturday at Smyrna Market Village. For more info, go to smyrnapride.org.

"Stonewall at Starland Yard" features a vendor market and food trucks all day, "Drag Queen Story Hour" 2-3 p.m., "So You Think You Can Drag?!" 3-5 p.m., "Stonewall Vogue Ball" 6-8 p.m, and a DJ the rest of the night.
