Professional baseball player-turned-developer Alex Guerrero is putting an under-construction spec house in Miami Beach, Fla., on the market for $75 million.
Guerrero, who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers until 2016, purchased the waterfront site on upscale North Bay Road for $13.6 million in 2023, property records show.
The home, which is slated for completion next year, is set to measure about 10,250 square feet with seven bedrooms and three kitchens, according to listing agent Lourdes Alatriste of Douglas Elliman.

Cuba-born Guerrero, 38, has pursued a second career as a spec-home developer since retiring from baseball a few years ago. Another home he developed on nearby Palm Island sold for more than $17 million in 2023, according to Alatriste, who also represented him on that project.
“He loves houses,” Alatriste said. “He was able to make his money when he was a baseball player, but he’s been able to maintain it because he builds really good houses.”

A courtyard is slated to have a fire pit.
Guerrero is listing the property before it is completed because he wants to offer a buyer the chance to customize it, Alatriste said.
“At this level, sometimes they want something specific,” she said.

As of now, plans call for an outdoor kitchen and two indoor kitchens, one of which will be a professional catering kitchen for entertaining, Alatriste said. The roughly half-acre property will also contain an infinity-edge pool, a dock and a hot tub. An 18-car garage will have a waterfall at the entrance, with sensors to stop the water when cars approach.
Guerrero played for the Los Angeles Dodgers between 2013 and 2016. He later played in Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball league.
With his latest project, Guerrero wanted to target the “most prestigious” location in the Miami area, Alatriste said. Over the past few years, North Bay Road has become known as the richest residential strip in Miami-Dade County. Soccer star David Beckham and his wife, designer Victoria Beckham, paid $72.25 million for a home on North Bay Road in 2024, and developer Todd Michael Glaser and partners are in contract to pay $105 million for a home there.
