Party bike opens in downtown Colorado Springs
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Thursday, July 3, a new small business opened in downtown Colorado Springs: a party bike from The Local Motive.
The Local Motive launched a party bike, which fits up to 16 guests. According to The Local Motive, the bike is steered by one of its trained and sober Party Bike Pilots who will lead the ride, steer the bike, and keep the party moving safely.
A standard party bike ride runs for 2 hours, starting from 415 South Nevada Avenue and ending at the same location. During the ride, the bike will stop at two or three bars or patios where guests can grab drinks. Each rider must be 21 and older with a valid ID, and a waiver must be signed before boarding. Currently, single reservations are not available, and rentals are by group only
The ribbon cutting on Thursday was attended by Mayor Yemi Mobolade, who spoke of celebrating the opening of a new business.

What’s even more beautiful and profound is celebrating the birth of a small business that supports other small businesses. And that’s exactly what The Local Motive represents.
