Hosted by The Traitors star Alan Cumming, who appeared on the BAFTA TV Awards red carpet on singer-songwriter Jessie J’s arm, the 2025 ceremony — which took place in sparkling spring sunshine on the banks of the River Thames at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday — featured an array of television, film, musical and theatrical stars in attendance.

Notable guests (and winners) included Marisa Abela, who received Best Leading Actress for HBO/BBC series Industry, and Baby Reindeer star Jessica Gunning, who capped off a likely historic TV awards sweep as she clinched the Best Supporting Actress category.

While the prizes of the night were fairly evenly shared, ITV’s Mr Bates vs The Post Office swept the evening — an unsurprising feat given how it dominated U.K. ratings last year and fueled a national conversation about the gross miscarriage of justice in which hundreds of innocent British postmasters were convicted of theft, fraud and false accounting. The series garnered Best Limited Drama, beating awards darling and frontrunner Baby Reindeer, which also cleaned at the Emmys and Golden Globes.

Others who attended the red carpet included Tramell Tillman, Billy Porter, Richard Gadd, James Corden, Graham Norton, Anjana Vasan, Nicola Coughlan, Jonathan Pryce, Martin Freeman and Toby Jones, as well as stars from Love Island, Big Brother UK, Rivals, Hollyoaks, Blue Lights, Heartstopper, One Day, Black Mirror and more.
