Golfing at Coors Field? Soon, you can get a ballpark tee time
DENVER (KDVR) — Coors Field is known for the Colorado Rockies, but for one weekend this fall, another sport is taking over the ballpark.
Tee times are coming out to play a round of golf inside Coors Field. Instead of watching the Rockies on the upper deck, people hit balls onto the field with custom greens in a nine-hole round of golf.
This isn’t the first time Coors Field has hosted a weekend of golf. Golfing at the ball park has become an annual tradition that started in 2022 with Upper Deck Golf, which hosts golfing experiences inside stadiums and ballparks across the country.
On the weekend of Oct. 3 and 4, parts of Coors Field will be up and running for tee times. Golfers play a nine-hole round around the upper deck, and the clubhouse will have driving, putting and closest to the pin simulator challenges. There will also be music, food and drinks in the clubhouse and festival area.
While golfing at Coors Field takes place this fall, tee times will be available soon.
Tickets to golf at Coors Field
Coors Field said tee times go out in August, but people can join the waitlist before the times go out to the public.
At least two people need to sign up for a standard tee time with 18 balls. VIP has 22 balls, two per hole, with four mulligans. VIP tee times include free entry into driving, chipping and putting challenges and complimentary food and beverage items.
