The 56th National Street Road Association's Annual Street Rod Nationals will be back in Louisville July 31 to Aug. 3 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Louisville has hosted the group for more than 30 years. This event, one of the world’s largest automotive participation events, is expected to generate nearly $7 million in estimated economic impact for Louisville’s local community, according to a news release from Louisville Tourism.

This year's Street Rod Nationals is estimated to welcome nearly 60,000 participants over the event days and more than 10,000 street rods, customs, classics, and muscle cars from all 50 states, according to the release.

The four-day show will run at the Kentucky Exposition Center, 937 Phillips Lane. Use Kentucky Exposition Center gates 1, 4, or 6 to enter on the following dates:

  • Thursday, July 31 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday, Aug 1: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 2: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, Aug. 3: 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Approximately 40 vintage cars will parade down Fourth Street on July 30. The cars will leave L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium and make their way to downtown. Fourth Street Live! will be closed to traffic, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., to allow the cars to display during the lunch timeframe.

The annual Street Rod Nationals is open to all ages. Advance discount tickets are available at any O’Reilly Auto Parts store locations or the Kentucky Exposition Center. Here is how much it costs to get in:

  • Adults (13 and older): $20
  • Children (6-12): $6
  • Children (5 and younger): Free
  • Family (Two adults, three children 12 and younger) $45
  • Military, NSRA members, and those under 60: $18
