Prince William's sweetest 'girl dad' moments with Princess Charlotte over the years

The Prince and Princess of Wales' only daughter, 10, travelled to Switzerland with the future king for the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 final between England and Spain.

The pair were like two peas in a pod as they reacted to the action on the field, hardly able to contain their excitement as England's Lionesses clinched the win.

Two peas in a pod.

Royal fans couldn't get enough of the photos, remarking on how similar Charlotte looks to her father and her clear joy at their outing together.

It's just the latest in many sweet moments Prince William has shared with his little girl over the years.

He's previously admitted to finding the dynamic of raising a daughter a learning experience, having only grown up with a brother.

"I haven't had a sister, so having a daughter is a very different dynamic. So I'm learning about having a daughter, having a girl in the family," he told Talk Vietnam in 2019.

From attending a Taylor Swift concert to encouraging their shared love of football, here are some of the prince's best 'girl dad' moments in photos.

A shared love

It's no secret William is a football lover, and he's clearly sharing that love with his children – Prince George has also joined his dad at major games.

William and Charlotte are both big football fans.

They were like two peas in a pod as they sat in the crowd in Switzerland.

Charlotte's attendance at the Euro final might have been her first solo soccer outing with Dad, but they've paired up to support the Lionesses before.

In recent years, they've recorded two video messages cheering on the team ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup final and the Euro 2022 final.

In the 2022 video, Charlotte was perched on her father's lap as she sent her well wishes: "Good luck, I hope you win. Bye!"

William scored some serious brownie points that same year when he visited the English team ahead of the Euros and passed on a message from his daughter.

"Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she's really good in goal," William told captain Leah Williamson, according to reports.

"She said, 'Please tell them that'. Budding star for the future!"

A Swift meeting

Any father who accompanied their young daughters to Taylor Swift's record-smashing Eras Tour knows it was the ultimate 'girl dad' power move.

Well, Prince William took it one step further.

The future king attended one of the singer's shows at Wembley Stadium in London with Charlotte and her big brother George in tow, and the trio got to meet Swift backstage. Talk about bragging rights.

In various appearances since, William has been seen wearing an Eras Tour staple accessory: a friendship bracelet, made for him by his daughter.

During his visit to South Africa for the 2024 Earthshot Prize ceremony, a beaded bracelet spelling out the word 'Papa' was spotted on his wrist..

"This is I think a relic, if you like, from a Taylor Swift concert, that my daughter decided that she wanted to create a bracelet for," he confirmed to British broadcasters in Cape Town.

"She gave it to me when I came away. I'd promised I'd wear it and try not to lose it while I was out here."

It seems Charlotte was a prolific bracelet-maker, as various members of the royal family have been seen wearing them in the past year.

Caught on camera

Some of the pair's sweetest father-daughter moments – namely interactions at public events – have been captured on camera through the years.
