Ribs, Aces, Burning Man and more: 23 things to do in Reno-Tahoe through Labor Day

The signs of fall are here. The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is done, food truck rallies are wrapping up the summer season and overnight temperatures around Lake Tahoe soon will start with the number 3.

But some of the region's favorite late-summer events are here — including the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook Off, which begins on Wednesday; Numaga Days from Friday through Sunday; and of course Burning Man, which runs through this week and wraps up Monday. There's also high school football, shows by Tiffany Haddish, Modest Mouse and Dave Matthews, and even more events to wrap up the unofficial end of summer.

Here's a look at what's on the agenda through Labor Day in northwestern Nevada.
