KFC launches pickle-themed menu in Canada
In a nod to Canada's love for pickles, KFC is launching a new menu full of unusual and exciting pickle-flavored items. The company noted that Canadians are such fans of the tangy treat that entire festivals are dedicated to it.
Even with Picklefest Vancouver and Toronto still a few weeks away, Canadians can now get their fill of salty, dilly snacks at KFC, which has launched a brand-new, pickle-themed menu.
For all the pickle lovers out there, KFC Canada has you covered. Starting this Monday for a limited time, the restaurant is rolling out a brand-new menu full of 'weird and wonderful' pickle-themed items.
From strange to delicious, the new menu includes three pickle-themed dishes and a beverage. One highlight is the Pickle Sandwich, a triple-breaded fried chicken fillet topped with both crispy pickle chips and classic bread and butter pickles, all finished with creamy mayo and a dusting of dill seasoning.
In addition to the sandwich, KFC's new menu features two other pickle-themed bites. There are the Loaded Pickle Fries, which are topped with crispy pickles, mayo, and dill seasoning. Alternatively, you can get the Fried Pickle Chips, which come with a side of ranch dressing for dipping.
With all those salty snacks, you'll need a drink—and KFC has a new beverage that's the perfect chaser. While it's not straight pickle brine, it's pretty close.
