Ohio hiking trail voted one of the country’s best

Whispering Cave, a 5-mile hiking trail at Hocking Hills State Park, has been named one of the best in the United States, according to USA Today’s compilation of the country’s 10 Best Hiking Trails.

The trails, “perfect for leisurely day hikes,” were nominated by an expert panel, then voted on by readers, according to the publication.
Whispering Cave landed in the #4 spot on this year’s list.
“Whispering Cave is just one of the many hikes in Hocking Hills State Park, which stretches across 2,356 acres. This 5-mile loop is moderately challenging and offers hikers access to a fun swinging bridge, the second-largest cave in the region, and a picturesque seasonal waterfall,” USA Today wrote.
