The old-school-style diner was shipped from Atlanta in pieces and reassembled at its Wilmington site behind the Dunkin' store and across from Grotto Pizza at 13th and North Lincoln streets.
It's known for its classic breakfast offerings like scrambled eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast, sausage gravy over biscuits, and creamed chipped beef. The crispy, lacy hash browns are a house specialty.
Those with a sweet tooth can snag a root beer float or malted chocolate milkshake with their meal, while those in need of a savory dish can spring for the chicken and waffles or Old Bay-infused crab eggs Benedict.

Goober's Diner is a companion to a next-door vintage car garage, known as Goober's Garage. It houses a vast collection of classic automobiles and motorcycles owned by Kershner.
