Oregon State baseball vs. Coastal Carolina prediction for College World Series: Who wins?
The showdown between Oregon State and Coastal Carolina will feature arguably the two hottest teams in all of college baseball.
The Chanticleers are in the midst of a 24-game winning streak that spans back to April 22. The Beavers, meanwhile, continue to find ways to win in miraculous fashion. Their 4-3 thriller over Louisville in their College World Series-opener marked their latest and greatest escape act.

Oregon State baseball vs. Coastal Carolina in College World Series
The Beavers and Chanticleers have never met in Omaha. In fact, the programs have played just one other time, in March 2019 in Seattle. The result was a 4-4 tie.

Oregon State baseball vs. Coastal Carolina prediction in College World Series
In a battle of CWS darlings, look for Oregon State to have a slight edge. Sophomore left-hander Ethan Kleinschmit (8-4, 3.54 earned run average) has been outstanding on the big stage during the postseason and produced stellar outings against Saint Mary’s and Florida State.
Coastal Carolina sophomore Jacob Morrison is in the midst of his own stellar season. But, as has been the case all season, the Beavers will be happy to face a right-hander on the big stage; they have hit them much better than they have hit southpaws this season.
In what is expected to be an electric pitcher’s duel, OSU will look to keep its storybook season rolling.
