Golden stormed back from a 10-5 deficit with a six-run fifth inning and held off the Wizards for a 12-11 semifinal win.
The Demons are now in the 4A driver's seat, needing to win just one out of two games next weekend (May 31, 10 a.m./12:30 p.m.) for the state championship.
Windsor falls into a consolation final (May 30, 12:30 p.m.) and will await the winner of No. 5 Palisade vs. No. 6 Cheyenne Mountain.
The Wizards must win that game plus beat the Demons twice for the school's first-ever state baseball title.
