There is no better way to celebrate July 4th than with a sparkling array of fireworks near you in New Jersey, and luckily the state has plenty of shows through Fourth of July, starting tonight, June 27, to satisfy your dopamine cravings.

From June 27 through July 4, there is undoubtedly at least one fireworks show near you worth checking out — honestly, are any not worth it? — so keep reading to get a sampling of some of the best fireworks shows in NJ.

Friday, June 27

Atlantic City fireworks

Enjoy live music, drink specials and more at the north end of the Atlantic City boardwalk on Friday, June 27 before a fireworks shows on North Beach beginning at 9 p.m. Check out details here, including two other July 4 fireworks shows in Atlantic City.

Lake Hopatcong fireworks

The Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club in Morris County hosts an epic display of colorful fireworks over New Jersey's largest lake on Friday, June 27, at dusk. You can view it from around the southern end of the lake but be aware the yacht club grounds are closed to the public. Rain date is June 28. Check the latest updates here.

Montville fireworks

Fireworks will be held the final night of Montville's 4th of July celebration on Friday, June 27, around 9:15 p.m. The evening also includes a carnival, food trucks, music and more. Check out details on the Montville website.

Matawan fireworks

The borough's annual fireworks celebration, with kids' activities, food, ice cream and live music, kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, at Lake Lefferts Park and Ravine Drive. Fireworks will wrap up the festivities, which conclude at 9:30 p.m.

Skylands Stadium fireworks

Want to catch a Sussex County Miners' baseball game (they are atop the leaderboard in the Frontier League's Atlantic Conference Eastern Division) or simply see their epic fireworks show? The stadium will host fireworks on Saturday, June 28 and Friday, July 4. Check out the schedule here.

Scotch Plains fireworks

Near Union County? Check out the Scotch Plains Independence Day fireworks show on Saturday, June 28 at Shady Rest Country Club. The event kicks off with kids' activities and entertainment, followed by fireworks at dusk.

Westville fireworks

Enjoy music, food trucks and a fireworks show on River Drive in the borough on Saturday, June 28. Fireworks start at dusk.

Sayreville fireworks

Sayreville has a full lineup of festivities on Saturday, June 28 beginning at 4 p.m. with an inflatable amusement area, food trucks and live music before a fireworks show around 9:15 p.m.

Sunday, June 29

Wall fireworks

Wall Fair at Wall Community Park concludes Sunday, June 29 with a colorful display of fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The fair, which began on Thursday, June 26, will continue through 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 29.

Monday, June 30

Cedar Grove fireworks

Lyndhurst fireworks

The annual Lyndhurst Independence Day celebration and fireworks show at the Little League Fields on Riverside Avenue starts at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 30. The event will include food trucks, vendors and music.

Tuesday, July 1

Hamilton fireworks

A fireworks show and concert in Hamilton Township will take place Tuesday, July 1 at Veterans Park. The event begins at 6 p.m. and concludes with a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.

South Brunswick fireworks

Food vendors, fireworks and live music will take over South Brunswick's Crossroads South Middle School on Tuesday, July 1. The event begins at 6 p.m. with fireworks starting around 9 p.m.

Roselle Park fireworks

An Independence Day celebration will take place beginning at 5 p.m. at Roselle Park's Hern Shaw Field. The festivities will include live music, rides, food trucks and end with a fireworks show around dusk.

Lawrence fireworks

Lawrence Township will host fireworks at Rider University at 9:30 p.m., concluding an evening that includes face painting, food trucks and live music. Check out the flyer here.

Mendham fireworks

The 6th annual 4th of July celebration in Mendham Township begins at 6:30 p.m. on Mosle Field, with live music, giveaways, food trucks and arts and crafts for the kids. The evening will end with a fireworks display.

Medford fireworks

A performance by The Infernos and a fireworks display will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at Essex County's Brookdale Park in Bloomfield.

Verona fireworks

Bayonne fireworks

Live music and inflatable rides for kids at DiDomenico Park will be among the festivities in Bayonne on July 2 starting at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks will go off around 9:15 p.m.
