Ocean County fair returns this week: Dates, admission, wristband information
I'm not sure if you heard, but the countdown to one of New Jersey's summertime staples has begun!
The Garden State is just days away from one of the biggest family fun events in Ocean County.
"The Ocean County Fair is one of the most anticipated annual events in the region — bringing together families, farmers, and fairgoers since 1947," according to OceanCountyFair.com.

The fair features something for everyone, including 4-H showcases, live music, thrilling rides, food vendors, livestock displays and hands-on activities for all ages.

Admission is $10 per person. Parking is free.
Ocean County Fair: Hours, ride schedule
The fair starts Wednesday, July 9, and ends July 13, 2025. Below are the hours of operation:
- Wednesday and Thursday: Fair opens at 5 p.m. and closes at 11 p.m.; Rides open at 5 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: Fair opens 11 a.m. and closes at 11 p.m.; Rides open at 1 p.m.
- Sunday: Fair opens: 11 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m.; Rides open at noon.

Wristbands are valid for four hours from the time of purchase and are available daily during all ride-operating hours.
