Anne Hathaway's Massive Diamond Necklace Took the Spotlight at the 2025 Met Gala
The actor walked the carpet tonight in a crisp white dress shirt with a collar so wide it nearly enveloped her entirely. She tucked the shirt into a beaded maxi skirt in a black and silver striped pattern, and paired it with sky-high black heels. But the piece that really took the spotlight was Hathaway’s massive diamond necklace with a giant rectangular sapphire at the center, from Bulgari.
Hathaway wore the Carolina Herrera look with a super-high, voluminous ponytail adorned with a little black bow.

The Devil Wears Prada star kicked off the Met Gala celebrations early. Last night, she was among the A-listers who attended pre-Met bashes around New York City.
Hathaway was photographed walking into Moda Operandi’s party—and she even stayed true to the Costume Institute exhibit's theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and the Met Gala dress code, “tailored for you,” in a sleek power suit from Versace. She wore the structured blazer and tailored pants with a pristine white dress shirt, strappy black heels, and a slouchy golden bag that went with her gold jewelry. To cap it all off: extra-large black sunglasses.
