Old Town Scottsdale's newest hotel aspires to redefine what a party in the desert looks like, while adding a hint of luxury.

The Remi Scottsdale, Autograph Collection, is scheduled to open in July 2025. It boasts Scottsdale's largest rooftop pool, Camelback Mountain views and five new restaurants.

The hotel, which cost $140 million to develop, is in a lively entertainment corridor adjacent to nightlife spots like Maya Day + Night (the hotel was originally called The Maya), Bottled Blonde and Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row.

It enhances the action with what Shy Coleman, The Remi's sales and marketing director, describes as "an odyssey of the senses" − an experience-first boutique for travelers who want to be in the heart of it all.

What is the Remi Scottsdale Autograph Collection about?

The name Remi is short for "reminisce." The hotel's midcentury modern aesthetic aims to integrate a contemporary look and feel with nostalgic iconography like the 1950s diner-inspired feel of its F-Sixteen restaurant, Coleman said.

The Remi isn't far from the four-star W Scottsdale and Senna House hotels. Coleman described the level of service at The Remi as "luxury that doesn't take itself too seriously."

"It brings a new level of sophistication to Scottsdale’s entertainment core, with rooftop vibes, five culinary concepts and a design story that celebrates reminiscing on old school luxury," Coleman said. "Think champagne towers, leather and midcentury modern accents, lush greenery and curated art installations that are meant to spark conversation."

The 12-story hotel has 161 rooms including 25 suites, Coleman said. Standard king rooms are 325 square feet and standard queen rooms are 375 square feet.

Two presidential-style loft suites have access to the rooftop pool. There's also a hospitality suite with two bedrooms, one with two queen beds and another with one king bed.

Each room features spa-inspired rain showers, custom robes and slippers, smart TVs, Wi-Fi, toiletries from Côte Beauty and minibars.

The rooms have a leather scent because the headboards attached to the beds are made from real leather, Coleman said.

The Remi has Scottsdale's highest rooftop pool

One of The Remi's selling points is that it has the highest rooftop pool in the city, atop the tower's 12th story. The pool area, known as Allegra, is described as the social heart of the hotel.

Allegra will feature DJ sets and late-night bottle service. People lounging on the rooftop are treated to views of the city, Camelback Mountain and the Papago Buttes.

The Remi has 475 square feet of event and meeting space − a tiny fraction of the space offered by resorts like The Phoenician or the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess − but that's by design. It's not meant to be a "typical ballroom hotel," Coleman said.

There's a private dining room designed for board meetings and executive dinners, and the rooftop lounge and pool can be used for private celebrations, corporate networking and team-building, or "stylish socializing" events. The hotel's flagship restaurant, Kauboi, can host casual meetings in its Whiskey Bar that features lounge furniture and a speakeasy aesthetic.

Each aspect of the hotel is designed to inspire human connections and keep people from being glued to their phones, Coleman said.

"It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place to be seen," she said.
