While recently chatting with Swooon to promote the brothers' new show Chasing the West, Jonathan, 47, dropped a three-word response when he was asked whether or not he and his fiancée Zooey Deschanel, 45, would have a televised wedding like Drew, 47, and his wife Linda Phan, 40, did.

“Not a chance!” Jonathan said.

Seven years ago in May 2018, Drew and Phan tied the knot in Italy. Their nuptials, which were attended by 300 guests, aired in a TLC wedding special called Property Brothers: Linda and Drew Say I Do.

“We are still floating on clouds… today couldn’t have been more magical,” the couple exclusively told PEOPLE at the time. “Surrounded by so many loved ones in such a beautiful place was unreal. We are very, very lucky. Friends, family, amazing food, blue skies and being even more in love than ever before — what more could we ask for?”

The couple’s buttercream frosting cake was also featured on an episode of Food Network's Cake Hunters in June 2018. The dessert was made with four flavors inside including vanilla with goat cheese and strawberry balsamic, organic red velvet, carrot and chocolate hazelnut.

Jonathan and Deschanel got engaged in August 2023 during a family trip to Scotland, four years after they started dating in 2019 after meeting while filming an episode of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke.

The pair were first spotted holding hands while out for a dinner date in September 2019, and they confirmed their relationship that same month when they attended a taping of Dancing with the Stars and shared a kiss while sitting front row. They made their red carpet debut in November 2019.

The couple have shared few details about wedding planning.

In an August 2024 interview with Access Hollywood, Jonathan said that he and Deschanel have been so busy that they "literally haven’t had time to just stop and think" about their wedding. He added that they do know they want to "keep it intimate."

Drew, who was also part of the interview, joked about crying at the wedding, Jonathan agreed, saying, "It’s gonna be a mess.”
