MomoCon to give free tickets to 900+ local kids through Atlanta nonprofits

MomoCon is teaming up with 11 Atlanta-area nonprofits to provide more than 900 local kids with free access to one of the country’s largest pop culture conventions.

The kids will attend MomoCon 2025 on Sunday, May 25, at the Georgia World Congress Center, where they will experience gaming, cosplay, animation music and more.

Organizations receiving tickets include:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlanta
YMCA
Scouts America
ReImagine ATL
Lekotek
Wellroot Family Services
Horizons Atlanta
Purpose Possible
Focus
New Media Education Foundation of Georgia

Each year, MomoCon selects a nonprofit for its official charity. This year, that honor goes to the Johnson STEM Activity Center. Donations raised through specialty merchandise and custom events during the convention will support their work in science, tech, engineering and math programming for youth.

When: Thursday, May 22 through Sunday, May 25

According to the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, MomoCon is projected to generate $42.4 million in direct spending in metro Atlanta over Memorial Day weekend. That includes hotels, restaurants, transportation and venue rentals.
