May 18, 2025: They share some rare PDA in Cannes.

The two make a rare red-carpet appearance together at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of the actor’s film Die My Love. After posing on the carpet with costar Robert Pattinson, Lawrence finds her husband in the starry crowd. The two embrace and share some laughs as Lawrence wraps her arms around the art gallery director’s neck and leans in to kiss him.

April 2025: They welcome their second child.

The Silver Linings Playbook star and her husband welcome a second child and younger sibling to brother Cy. The parents have yet to reveal their youngest’s name.

December 4, 2024: Jennifer shows off her bump in a Dior LBD.

The actor shows off her classic maternity style in a black Dior dress at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment gala in Los Angeles. The elegant but simple, slightly off-the-shoulder dress features a V-shaped neckline and elbow-length sleeves. A skinny black leather belt accentuates her growing baby bump.

October 20, 2024: Jennifer and Cooke announce they are expecting their second child.

After being photographed in L.A. the night before, a representative for Lawrence and Maroney confirms that the two were expecting their second child.

October 19, 2024: Jennifer steps out in Los Angeles with a visible baby bump.

While in L.A., the star is photographed heading to dinner while wearing a white La Linge T-Shirt that appears to cover a growing baby bump.

September 6, 2022: Jennifer opens up about baby son Cy.

The actor officially confirms in an interview that she and her husband welcomed their first child, a son named Cy, in February. Reflecting on becoming a new mother, Lawrence says, “The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, Now is day one of my life. I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors.” She adds, “My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn’t know about. I include my husband in that.”

February 2022: Jennifer and Cooke welcome their first child.

They welcome their first child together, but reveal no details. It isn’t until the spring, when the couple is photographed on a walk in New York City with their newborn, that the birth of the pair’s bundle of joy is confirmed.

November 2021: Jennifer opens up about married life.

In her Vanity Fair cover story, the No Hard Feelings actor opens about the little things in her marriage to Maroney that she loves. “I really enjoy going to the grocery store with him. I don’t know why, but it fills me with a lot of joy,” she tells the magazine. “I think maybe because it’s almost a metaphor for marriage. ‘Okay, we’ve got this list. These are the things we need. Let’s work together and get this done.’”

October 19, 2019: Jennifer and Cooke marry in a private ceremony in Rhode Island.

Lawrence and Maroney marry on October 19, 2019, at the historic Belcourt of Newport mansion in Rhode Island. The A-list wedding is packed with celebrity guests including Emma Stone, Ashley Olsen, Adele, Cameron Diaz, Benji and Joel Madden, Nicole Richie and Kris Jenner, according to People.

The ceremony is followed by a reception for their 150 guests. For the special occasion, Lawrence wear a sweeping Dior wedding gown (which was reportedly kept in its own room at the 40,000 square foot Rhode Island Estate ahead of the wedding). The day before the wedding, the couple hold a clambake rehearsal dinner on the secluded Rose Island.

September 2019: They are spotted at NYC’s Marriage Bureau.

The pair are photographed at the New York City Marriage Burea with two security guards, a photographer, and a friend. In a photo obtained by Page Six, the two are casually dressed—both in sunglasses, with Jennifer in a blazer and jeans and Cooke in a white, long-sleeve tee—and appear to be holding pieces of paper.

June 2019: Jennifer reveals she knew Cooke was the one as soon as she met him.

The Dior face gushes about her beau—a few months before their secret Rhode Island wedding—during a chat on Catt Sadler’s podcast, Naked with Catt Sadler. “I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other, we wanted to commit fully… He’s my best friend. I want to legally bind him to me forever,” she tells Sadler. “And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. You find your favorite person on the planet and you’re like, ‘You can’t leave!’”

Speaking more about being “honored” to marry the art dealer, Lawrence says: “It’s just—this is the one. I know that sounds really stupid, but he’s just, he’s—you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”

May 2019: Jennifer and Cooke host an engagement party.

The newly-engaged pair host an engagement celebration in New York City for their friends and family, according to People. The couple is photographed walking to the event, with Maroney in a blue suit and gray tie, and Lawrence in a long-sleeve, blush-colored gown by L. Wells Bridal. The romantic Juliana dress features a plunging neckline and a leg slit. The actor accessorizes the look with matching pumps and a low messy bun with free-flowing hair strands framing her face.

Following the engagement, L. Wells Studio shares a photo of the the-bride-to-be in her dress on Instagram with the caption: “Here she comes! We couldn’t be happier and more excited for #jenniferlawrence to become a #MRS.. this weekend we toasted Jen and her groom to be.. too good of a time was had by all.”

February 2019: Jennifer and Cooke get engaged.

After less than a year of dating, the loved-up pair get engaged. A rep for the couple confirms their engagement in February after the Hunger Games star is spotted out at dinner in New York City with Maroney while wearing a massive diamond ring.

January 2019: They bundle up for a cozy pasta date.

Lawrence and Maroney are spotted leaving a cozy dinner at popular pasta spot Via Carota in New York City’s West Village. Bundled up for the occasion, the art expert wears a black puffer jacket while the Mother! actor layers up in an oversized wool coat, scarf, and a green beanie that matches her plaid pants.

August 2018: The new couple takes a romantic trip to Europe.

Through the summer, Lawrence and Maroney enjoy romantic dates everywhere from Rome to New York City, and in mid-August, they are photographed holding hands while walking the streets of Paris. The Don’t Look Up star is chic and casual in a pale-pink and lace minidress with sandals and a Dior saddle bag, while Maroney sports a white tee, beige slacks, and sneakers.
