3. Hometown Heroes Appreciation Day at Cox Science Center and Aquarium

Hometown Heroes Appreciation Day will be held Saturday, June 21 at Cox Science Center and Aquarium in West Palm Beach.
The center will once again honor its hometown heroes with a day of family-friendly festivities. The event will include exclusive early access starting at 9 a.m. for veterans, active-duty military, first responders, Gold Star Families, and up to four of their guests, who will receive complimentary admission. There will be military vehicle demonstrations, meet and greet with local armed forces as well as live science demonstrations, military ceremonies and tug-of-war with the troops. Lunch will also be available for heroes and their families. To redeem tickets, register online and bring a military or employee ID.

4. Boca's Summer in the City: Stevie Wonder/Lionel Ritchie Tribute

Get a double shot of greatness as these tribute artists play one classic track after another Friday, June 20 at Mizner Park Amphitheater.
Part of their summer concert series which will feature live music most Fridays as well as some Saturdays and Sundays, this show will be held at Mizner Park Amphitheater and feature one classic track after another. "My Cherie Amour," "Isn't She Lovely," "Superstition," "Hello," "Endless Love," "Ballerina Girl" and many more.
5. Mermaid Adventures at Hilton West Palm Beach

Learn how to be a mermaid during Mermaid Adventures on Saturday, June 21 at Hilton West Palm Beach.
Find your inner Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" or Madison from "Splash" and become an aquatic princess with Vero Beach Mermaid. Led by PADI mermaiden, Brandee Anthony, this immersive, 60-minute class will teach participants to safely swim, kick, dive, and tread water gracefully wearing a colorful mermaid tail and monofin. End the fun-filled day with a mermaid photoshoot.
Bonus: St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Summer Solstice Soirée Winetasting

The St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Summer Solstice Soirée Winetasting event will feature a performance by the Demetrius Klein Dancy Company.
Enjoy sparkling, white, rose and red along with hors d'oeuvres and mini desserts along and a performance by the Demetrius Klein Dance Company, all in celebration of the longest day of the year. There will be non-alcoholic wines also available.
