And just like that, one of Carrie Bradshaw's most iconic Sex and the City looks had its moment again, 25 years later—by none-other than Jenna Ortega, a fashion icon in her own right. Fans will remember Carrie wore a 1998 Dior minidress emblazoned with newspapers during an infamous season 3 scene, in which she ambushes Mr. Big's wife, Natasha, to apologize for her affair with her husband. The episode, which aired in 2000, wasn't the only time the dress graced the screen. In fact, the piece was just too good, it went on to make an appearance in the film Sex and the City 2 and spinoff series And Just Like That. Now, Ortega has breathed brand new life into the John Galliano masterpiece on the red carpet.

The 22-year-old graced the world premiere of her new film Hurry Up Tomorrow in New York City wearing the recognizable frock, which features a cowl neck, gold chain spaghetti straps, open back, figure-hugging silhouette, and asymmetrical flowy skirt. Ortega paired the piece with strappy, metallic gold heels, a smattering of glittery rings, a dainty gold chain bracelet, and a matching gold charm chain choker.

As for beauty, the Wednesday star styled her dark brown lob down and straight with a middle part. She glammed up with sultry makeup, complete with dark eyeliner, a smoky eye, bronzy cheeks, matte lipstick, and polished soap nails.

As for Carrie's part, she styled the piece with black lace peep-toe pumps, a silver-sequin bag with a long silver chain handle, and a necklace with a large white flower charm. She styled her caramel-colored locks down in soft waves with a side part, and glammed up with a smoky eye and glossy lips.
It appears Ortega took another another page out of Carrie's book—why stun in one head-turning ensemble, when you can shut the whole place down in two? The actress had an outfit change for the afterparty, which came via a baby-pink minidress, floor-grazing beige fur coat, and strappy heels. She kept her hair and glam consistent.
