This latest round of expansion follows the recent debut of three new stores in South Korea , Sweden, and Midland, Texas during June and July. It also builds on several US store openings that took place earlier this spring.

As a powerhouse in the wholesale retail sector, Costco has become a mainstay of American shopping culture and enjoys a devoted global following. With millions of loyal members, the company operates hundreds of locations across both domestic and international markets.

According to Chief Financial Officer Gary Millerchip, Costco targets 25 to 30 new openings annually, generally splitting them evenly between US and international sites. Here’s a look at the new locations set to open next month.

Rimouski, Quebec (opening Aug. 5), The Villages, Florida (opening Aug. 6), North Guadalajara, Mexico (opening Aug. 7), Allen, Texas (opening date TBA), East Newmarket, Ontario, Canada (TBA), Spring Valley, Nevada (TBA).

Where has Costco opened stores recently?

Earlier this year, Costco has expanded in several locations beginning in March. Brentwood, California; Highland, California; Sharon, Massachusetts; Genesee County, Michigan.
